Web Development Internship

Job description

IMPORTANT: Please note this is not a job opportunity, this is a Work Placement opportunity for higher education students. To be considered, you must currently be a student wanting to do an internship as part of your higher education curriculum at your college/institution. Students on European Union programs: Leonardo da Vinci, Youth in Action, Erasmus, Comenius, may also be considered.

Perform various tech related tasks for a tiny start-up. You can work on-site or off-site, but you must be able to come in to the London location as needed for work. Compensation is based on the work you deliver. You must be a creative problem-solver. You will have some flexibility on what you work on, in terms of technologies, projects, etc. There are several little projects you could work on, provided you have basic required skills; these include, small apps, code updates, feature implementation, responsive design, etc.

Skills and/or passion in the following is a must:

1) Very good knowledge of HTML 5, CSS3, UX design
2) Knowledge of Bootstrap.
2) Knowledge of jQuery and similar .js libraries.
3) Understanding of Responsive Design, as it relates to mobile media.

Desired profile

Knowledge of .NET/C# and XAMARIN (for apps) is not required, but if you have it, it is a strong plus.
