Virtual Design Manufacturing Engineer - KSC/65 - up to £45,000 p

My client, is currently recruiting for a Virtual Design Manufacturing Engineer to work on a Permanent basis based in Essex. The role is offering a rate up to £45,000 per annum.

This virtual Manufacturing/Simulation (VME) position is an engineering role dedicated to Virtual evaluation of Engines as shipped engine assembly"s, during pre-program phase. Supporting the development and refinement of engine assembly sequence, preparing, supporting and evaluating engines as shipped during pre-program stage.

Your application will be supported by the following skills and experiences:
- AutoCAD, Process Simulate, Vis mock-up, Catia V5 and or RobCAD, Teamcentre and Vismockup.
- Experience with JACK would also be an advantage.
- Engineering related degree/HND/HNC equivalent qualification and be able to demonstrate engineering experience.
- Be self-disciplined in seeking out and resolving the issues with program engineers and leaders in these highly technical projects.
- Understanding of program reporting systems and metrics [system milestone assessments, issue resolution]
- Ability to operate on their own with minimum direct supervision
- Excellent inter-personal skills.
- A high degree of flexibility and persistence to accommodate the different working styles/patterns between the business/project team members.
- Manufacturing Engineering qualifications and/or significant experience on Power Train launches
- Basic program management experience and/or demonstrate experience in the coordination and management of complex programs and data bases will be an advantage
