Sales Director - Onshore Drilling Equipment

Holland or Germany

I am currently recruiting for a major oilfield solutions provider which including oilfield equipment, drilling services and EPC services. This is a market leader who has an excellent reputation for over 50 years globally and is looking to hire a Sales Director for its onshore drilling equipment division in Europe.

This business has over 70% of its revenue outside of its head office country, covering the whole globe and employing over 8000 people globally. Some of your duties will include but not limited to:

Achieving sales turnover and profitability in line with company and territory objectives
Developing and executing market entry plan, including short, medium and long term objectives
Implementing market share capture strategy to expand customer base in line with set targets
Identifying key project opportunities and engage internal and external stakeholders to develop and deliver winning strategies
Building relationships with key personnel (decision makers) across the target customer group
Working with the Marketing team to tailor marketing strategy for the region, including organising technical forums, participating in exhibitions, etc. to raise company profile
Preparing presentations and proposals to obtain new orders including proper review of customer specifications and commercial requirements
To be considered for this role you must be or show examples of:

Over 20 years' experience of the French oil and gas market
More than 15 years' experience in drilling equipment sales in France
Experience of drilling contractors and manufacturers
Knowledge of drilling equipment customers within France
Degree qualified
Salary: Negotiable plus benefits
