Job description

An EMEA Sales Manager (MRO) is required within an Aerospace and Defense company providing electro-mechanical aftermarket components for Aerospace industry.

The EMEA Sales Manager (MRO) will reports to the VP Sales Customer Service Support (CSS) EMEA, the EMEA Sales Manager (MRO) is responsible for managing all aspects of the inside sales department and lead accountability for the department, monitoring and reporting sales metrics, and managing the sales administration process.

This EMEA Sales Manager (MRO) position will be located in the West Midlands with visits to other sites as required.

Responsibilities of the EMEA Sales Manager (MRO)

- Work closely with outside sales team
- Lead generation for spares sales across a broad range of company products
- Prepare pricing proposals for long term spares agreements
- Liaise with customers to enhance sales, retain business and improve service levels
- Actively manage the inside sales team by coaching, evaluating, and training
- Motivate the team and establish/achieve targets
- Directly supervise employees in the Sales department
- Implement formal training processes for employees in sales team
- Develop sales and activity reports with outside sales team
- Maximise business development any sales opportunities
- Addressing complaints and resolving problems
- Evaluate and implement improvements to the inside sales and sales process
- Ensure that the inside sales team meets compliance, safety policies and procedures
- Provide regular accurate reports to the leadership team on sales metrics
- Performance accounting for month end reporting purposes

Qualifications and Desired Characteristics of the EMEA Sales Manager (MRO)

- Preferred management degree in related field
- 5 - 10 years' experience in a sales/service/parts management
- Experience within the aerospace environment preferred
- Experience of managing a team both within an office environment and remote sites
- Working knowledge of lean manufacturing concepts and techniques
- Strong data analysis skills in particular excel, with ability to produce accurate reporting
- Second language ( French/German ) is an advantage
- High degree of attention to detail and Commitment to continuous Improvement
- Strong interpersonal, leadership and organisational skills
