Marketing Internship

This is a unique opportunity to for a candidate to work directly alongside a photographer, helping directly to grow and progress an established a business. Everything you do will have a big impact!

I am looking for someone who is both self-driven and able to work collaboratively. You must enjoy building new relationships and have ideas on how best to find potential clients.

This internship will provide a real opportunity to help a small business grow and the work you do will be a great portfolio for future employers.

Duties involve the following:

- Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies
- Devise marketing campaigns
- Help to develop and maintain a strong social media presence and personal brand
- Website development
- Develop new creative partnerships
- Email campaigns

Length

The position will be based at my studio in Leyton, East London, with opportunities to work remotely. This position is for 1/2 days a week, with flexible hours and I would be looking to work with someone over a few months.

Background info

I trained as a photographer at art school over fifteen years ago. Through a series of assisting jobs, I honed my technical knowledge and skills and then in 2016, after years of practicing as a photographer, I built a small photographic studio: The Holloway Lightbox.

Skills

Ideally a degree in Marketing or Business
An understanding of social media
Computer literate
Enjoys collaboration

Great communicator
A passion or desire to understand the photographic industry

I am dyslexic so need someone who is a good speller to act as a counterbalance. I also need someone who can communicate with me concisely.
