Quality Release Technician-6063150504DescriptionEthicon, Inc., a member of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies, is recruiting for a Quality Release Technician, located in Cornelia, GA.The Quality Release Technician will administer and coordinate document control and quality record keeping activities to ensure compliance with regulatory and business requirements. This individual will review production batch records for compliance with quality system policies and procedures; verify that records are complete; resolve any identified problems; file records. Release finished goods for distribution; review records for completeness; verify that all DMR requirements have been fulfilled; resolve any identified problems; complete lot release documentation; tag product approved, as applicable; collect and store retain samples; file records. Maintain and archive quality records; keep files organized and secure; scan records for electronic storage.
The Quality Release Technician will comply with all federally regulated programs. Adhere to Johnson & Johnson environmental and safety policies and guidelines. Comply with all job specific safety procedures and utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when necessary. Comply with quality system requirements as defined within procedures and instructions. Use test equipment (Starett Gauge, Mitutoyo Gauge, Microscope, etc.) where applicable. Utilize applicable software systems as needed for the job (e.g. ComplianceWire, Adaptive, etc.). Consistently meet required work performance targets (REs), if applicable. Support Lean and Six Sigma initiatives. Support Maintenance Excellence (ME2), including 6S and Operator Asset Care. Accurately complete records as defined within the job procedures (e.g. manual and/or electronic documentation). Perform other work-related duties as assigned by supervisor. Consistently meet required Training due date targets.
QualificationsA minimum of a High School diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent required. Associate’s degree in a science or technology discipline is preferred. A minimum of 5 years of experience working in a FDA regulated environment is required. Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements is required. Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required. Knowledge of Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) preferred. Must have excellent communication and interpersonal relation skills, including conflict management. Must have demonstrated statistical and analytical problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail. Must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment. The ability to interact and communicate effectively with other functional professionals (i.e. Engineering, Operations) at all levels is required. The ability to work off-shift hours, based on business needs, is required.
