This is a pivotal role at the intersection of the global need state strategy and brand relevance and implementation. This position reports into the Director of Marketing Head Sinus, Cough & Cold GFO and will be based Maidenhead UK.Head Sinus is one of the core strategic pillars of Global Cough & Cold. Leading the Head Sinus pillar in Cough & Cold means leading the long term strategy, equities, and innovation of all J&J brands that are positioned around Sinus, Decongestant and Head Congestion. This includes leading brands such as Sudafed, Tyzine, Olynth and Sinutab, present across the world and particularly important in key markets such as Canada, US, UK, Germany, Russia, South Africa, Australia.The Marketing Manager Head Sinus will serve on the Global Franchise Leadership Team (GFLT) and help lead the development of the Need State/Franchise strategic plan in line with the global strategy. Specifically, the Marketing Manager Head Sinus GFO will: Support the Director Head Sinus to develop 5 Yr Need State Strategic Plan Assess each brand’s unique space to occupy in the Need State and how brands can cumulatively maximize share of the Need State Partner with R&D to validate upstream technologies & assess for equities With the Director Head Sinus, create global pipeline based on need states & driving towards platforms Leverage Strategic Agency Partnership to glean insights to shape innovation strategy/pipeline concepts and inform brand building opportunities.• Own development and stewardship of brand playbook (equity, visual identity, brand growth plan (financial targets and playbook on marketing/growth model), innovation, measurement)• Develop Brand Creative Idea, content guidelines and govern global content via lead market model• Own development and stewardship of brand visual identity (executional equity) leading cross agency team to develop integrated connections plan and multi-media content• Assign lead region/market for concept / content development• Lead Agency Strategic Partnership to guide IMC development/activation and provide global equity stewardship• Govern cross-agency team to ensure successful partnership across full creative eco-system toward business and brand building goals• In partnership with Region GFO, create core Global Launch Kits and roll-up Global content needs for agency SOWThis person will be responsible for creating a high-performance environment and culture of collaboration and innovation with cross functional partners and marketing counterparts. In addition, this person will have responsibility for a team of marketers on the Franchise team and will play in leadership role in talent management and succession planning for the franchise.QualificationsKey Education, Experience and Competencies required: A BA degree is required, a Master in business or marketing specialization preferred. Sound FMCG brand marketing experience is essential; Consumer healthcare/OTC or similar category experience is highly advantageous. Experience of marketing in a digital world, (i.e., social media, e-commerce, analytics, on-line) is required. Experience of working within a global, matrixed organization is necessary, including leading/participating in cross-functional/country teams. Experience in successful partnership with R&D organizations to develop innovative products supported by specific and relevant brand messaging is required. Proven success in developing strategic agency partnerships to build long term brand health and business is required. Demonstrated financial acumen in making effective business decisions is required. Experience in providing marketing thought leadership—taking consumer insight and using it to drive thinking and good decisions, is required. Demonstrated skill in executing and delivering brand leadership in a similar integrated brand leadership role is required.What type of mark will you make?
