Junior Sales Representative Biosense Webster-8966150616DescriptionJohnson & Johnson Medical Caribbean, a member of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies, is recruiting for a Jr. Sales Representative for its Biosense Webster business, located in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. The Jr. Sales Representative will provide service for all the Puerto Rico territory, representing and supporting our electrophysiology business in current and new accounts.
Johnson & Johnson Medical Caribbean in Guaynabo, PR, is the sales and marketing organization for Johnson & Johnson medical products such as sutures and surgical equipment, products for the prevention of infections and injuries in the operating room, cardiovascular products, orthopedics, and diagnostic equipment.

The Jr. Sales Representative will promote Biosense Webster products and train clients about their clinical and technical characteristics. Provide professional clinical support to customers (primarily physicians, nurses, and techs) through education and training regarding CARTO three dimensional, electro-anatomical mapping system as well as other accessory and equipment. Will attend procedures in Cath/EP Lab and have a constant and direct contact with the customer, give technical and professional support. He or she will handle customer questions and objections in a way that is consistent with product indications and sales training methodology. Establishes specific sales objectives aligned to the business strategy, business selling action plans and specific strategies for the accounts. Have ownership of accounts to develop technical procedures, operative and educational selling and promotional actions. Execute the selling cycle in a manner that is concise, professional, ethical, and which leads the customer to action. The selected candidate will target accounts and achieve results through a daily action plan. Interact with other J&J business units to obtain relevant information. Identify commercial needs, opportunities, weaknesses and strengths of the business unit to propose initiatives and solutions and optimize sales. Identify potential customers by evaluating their clinical and economic needs. Keep updated in product information, launching of products and procedures by constantly study training material, reading product awareness reports, assist to congresses and more. Establish strong relationships with customers, obtain feedback, understand their needs and maintain adequate service levels by providing high level customer support and on
- going communication. Monitor the competition, strengthen relationships with all key players this includes (Staffing , Administration, Finance , Purchasing, etc.) from institutions Provide marketing intelligence information to the sales organization. Support the inventory management and planning.
QualificationsA Bachelor's Degree in Health Related field, Engineer Biotechnological, Biomedical or related fields, or a Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Business, with experience in the cardiology/cardiovascular, electrophysiology or medical device industry are required. A combination of an Associate Degree and three (3) or more years of experience in cardiology/cardiovascular and electrophysiology can be considered. Sales experience in medical devices, is preferred. Proficiency in Word, Excel and Power Point is required. Fully bilingual (English and Spanish) is required. Able to work flexible hours. Able to work in a Cath/EP Lab environment. Willing to travel long distances around the island is required. Availability to travel 20% of the time to the US or international locations required. Must be able to lift up to ten (10) pounds. Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential. Self-starter with strong time management and planning skills.
A valid driver's license, with a clean driving record are required (A clean driving record is considered one that does not have any combination of three or more violations or accidents, while the vehicle was in movement in the past three years or any combination of three or more violations or accidents, while the vehicle was moving, within any 6-month period). The eligibility assessment is based on the date(s) of the actual violations versus when the conviction occurred.
