- oral careLocation: Maidenhead ( or potential for Germany )Position Summary:We now have a great opportunity for a EMEA LEAD FOR ORAL CARE SCIENTIFIC & PROFESSIONAL AFFAIRS to join our Consumer business. You will be accountable for the development of integrated relationships between Johnson & Johnson and the dental profession in EMEA specifically the Oral healthcare KOLs, professional dental associations and public organisations in order to achieve the optimal use of our oral care products in line with our local and global professional strategiesMain duties and responsibilities:
- Direct the operational function in Oral Care Scientific & Professional affairs to achieve organizational objectives.
- Design, development and implementation of programs related to educational, promotional and reporting materials for products related to clinical trials, solicited and non-solicited studies, publications, and so on. Management of budget, contract negotiation and oversight of vendor activities in the region.
- Manage the design and implementation plans of Oral Care Scientific & Professional affairs program, including identification of critical paths, budget development and tracking of all projects. Manage review of promotional material for the Oral Care business in EAME.
- Develop and maintain relationship with key opinion leaders and professional associations across EMEA, manage Advisory Boards, Expert Panels and Speakers’ Panels. Contribute to maintaining a high level of internal JNJ scientific expertise by providing expert advice and access to external experts.
- Establishes accountability for assignments, through management and creation of educational, promotional and reporting materials for use by internal and external stakeholders. Manages publication planning, preparation and review.
- Provide solutions surrounding legal liability and compliance with government.
Maintains collaborative working relationship between Scientific & Professional Affairs and internal stakeholders to deliver timely and expert support to product development. Implements policies and procedures for development and provision of technical information pertaining to the company's products for internal use by customer and by government.
QualificationsEducation and Experience:Essential:
- At least 2 years of Industry and Commercial experience in the Oral healthcare products
- Bachelor in Dental Science degree and Registration with the General Dental Council
- PhD (completed or nearing completion) in Dentistry or Oral Biology/Biochemistry
- Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver effective educational and scientific communication
- Experience of international collaboration in scientific research and education in Oral Health Sciences or closely related subject area
- History of Scientific publications in peer review journals and presentations at professional conferencesHighly regarded
- Clinical experience in Dentistry
