We are seeking an EMEA Group Product Manager Knee to join our commercial organisation.
Job Scope:The EMEA Group Product Manager Knee is responsible for the development and execution of the short to midterm tactical plans for the EMEA knee business with focus on the specific category. This position is responsible for maximizing market opportunities for the knee business. This individual should be the EMEA subject matter expert for the knee business, understanding European trends, competitive intelligence, product performance and evidence requirements. Additionally, this individual will be responsible for the development of regional product launch forecasts and launch execution plans. This individual will also be responsible for the delivery of consistent WW brand messages via various media through collaboration with the Cluster marketing teams and cross franchise marketing team. This individual will also manage others in the development and execution of the category strategy in conjunction with the WW Marketing team.
Responsibilities:Develop the key commercial strategies of the knee portfolio for the EMEA RegionDevelop and maintain relationships with surgeon champions and opinion leadersMember of the International Knee management teamResponsible for the execution of rationalization plans including providing replacement product and support of cluster marketing and local sales groups in the execution product rationalization planResponsible for the regional product pricing strategy including pricing bandsDirect the professional education and sales training strategy for the category, providing supportWork with the WW Knee team to manage new product Introductions effectively through cross functional groupsQualificationsExperience Skills and Abilities:Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferredMarketing, Product Management, Product Marketing or Branding/Marketing experience with previous experience in marketing strategy developmentExperience in medical device industryPeople management experienceDemonstrated success in brand communications, project management, planning and execution, including product branding, positioning, marketing plan developmentDemonstrated strong strategic and analytical capabilitiesAbility to work and collaborate with a wider marketing, business intelligence, R&D, operations, finance, medical affairs, clinical, and regulatory organizations required.
Educate and coach othersAbility to develop and lead a high-functioning teamHighly developed and effective negotiating and influencing skillsAbility to utilize either written or oral communications skills to produce effective marketing promotion materials that accomplish department goals/objectivesMake effective marketing presentations to small and large groupsUp to 40 % domestic and international travel required, including some weekends.
