The Warehouse Associate I will perform most functions within the warehouse including the loading and unloading of materials to and from trailers and ocean containers as well as the physical placement of materials in storage locations.
Responsibilities:
• You will verify and document all material receipts by performing transactions in the electronic warehouse system.
• You will assist in the development of the Warehousing and Logistics procedures needed for the start-up of the facility.
• Must be skilled in the operation of warehouse equipment (i.e. forklifts).
• Will reconcile all materials received against the packing list / delivery receipt and or purchase order.
• Through daily execution ensures correct shipments to the appropriate distribution centers and internal companies.
• Through daily execution ensures correct material delivered to the appropriate work center.
• Schedule dock appointments for all in-bound shipments.
• Picks orders as required according to established procedures, while ensuring accuracy.
• Assists in unloading material received and loading material to be shipped in accordance with SOPs for a particular area.
• Operates systems and equipment necessary to process orders, i.e. SAP.
• Interfaces with internal and external customers as needed.
• Conducts physical counts including but not limited to cycle counts in required areas.
• Provides feedback to site management
• Supports strategic and tactical plans in alignment with site's mission and plans.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

• A High School Diploma or equivalent is required
• Distribution and cGMP experience is preferred
• Forklift experience is preferred.
• Basic computer skills are required; MS Office Programs (Outlook, Word and Excel) experience is preferred
• Able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis, stand and/or walk on concrete floors for extend periods of time, and perform repetitive tasks is required
• Experience operating warehouse equipment to include hydraulic jack, barcode scanning equipment strongly preferred
• Experience working with SAP warehouse management system is preferred
• Requires the ability to flexibly work any assigned shift (1st, 2nd or 3rd), and must be willing to work overtime according to business needs.
