Our McNeil Manufacturing Plant located in Guelph is looking for a current student to join us on our mission as a Technical Writer Co-op beginning May 2018 for an 8 month work term.
In this role, you will support identified aspects of compliance related to products manufactured at the McNeil Consumer Healthcare Guelph Campus. As a member of the Production Team, you will be responsible for supporting team objectives through documentation and data collection. You will assist in the development and implementation of processes/activities associated with nonconformances, EtQ Change Control, and other document management processes related to production.
Key responsibilities include:
· Develop/revise SOPs, on-the-job training documents, and compliance reviews
· Capture and analyze data for non-conformances and preventative actions
· Assist with Cleaning Validation activities.
· Participate in projects as assigned.

Qualifications :

· You should be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree program and eligible to complete a 8 month co-op term at our Guelph manufacturing location (McNeil).
· You will have some working knowledge of the USP (United States Pharmacopeia) would be a huge plus.
· Strong consideration will be given if you have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Minitab.
· Prior experience with a food, or pharmaceutical industry would be considered a definite asset.
· Basic knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and Good Documentation Practices.
· Ability to work both independently or as an integral member of the team
· Good verbal and written interpersonal skills.
· Good technical comprehension.
· Proven problem solving and multitasking capabilities.
· Strong computer skills: Word, Excel and Outlook.
· You should enjoy working to multiple deadlines in a dynamic and fast-paced team environment.
