Johnson and Johnson Services Inc., is currently recruiting for a student intern to work in the 3D Printing Technology Center of Excellence. Johnson & Johnson's 3D Printing Center of Excellence (CoE) is working to redefine healthcare through 3D printing, a technology that promises to radically change how Johnson & Johnson conceptualizes, designs, manufactures and delivers patient solutions.
The position is offered by the Bioprinting and Tissue Regen Technologies (TRT) group within the 3D Printing CoE. The Bioprinting and TRT group supports the consumer, medical device and pharmaceutical divisions of the Johnson & Johnson enterprise with an emphasis on research and development of bioinductive, bioactive and tissue engineered constructs. The ability to 3D print these constructs will enable Johnson & Johnson to deliver highly innovative regenerative therapies. The internship program is focused on providing students at the Master's and Doctoral levels in the STEM fields with practical industrial scientific experience.
The Bioprinting and Tissue Regen Technologies Intern will:
· Work collaboratively with Bioprinting and TRT scientists in the group supporting ongoing projects
· Assist with activities associated with the development of strategic landscape models for a better understanding of opportunities and gaps within the current portfolio
· Participate in ongoing group meetings and project team meetings including data analysis and slide preparation for project and strategic updates
· Be exposed to various other functions within the 3D Printing CoE and across the enterprise
Desired profile
Qualifications
· Candidates must be pursuing a Master's or Doctoral degree in a STEM field.
· Candidates must be able to work full-time during the employment period.
· Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g. H1-B status).
· Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel.
· Experience and in-depth training in the areas of bioengineering, tissue engineering, regenerative medicine or bioprinting is strongly preferred.
· Candidates must be detail-oriented, highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks.
· Candidates must have the ability to work individually (independently) as well as on a team
· Strong motivation and problem-solving abilities are required.
