Johnson & Johnson is currently recruiting for a Software Engineer for our Tampa Development Center. The position is located in Tampa, FL.

This role will operate in a scrum/agile team environment to define and implement solutions across all areas of J&J. This team is responsible for maintaining the highest levels of development practices, working towards continuous improvement of those practices, and maintaining and upgrading implemented systems.

Responsibilities:

·  Develop and implement new software programs under direction of tech lead.
·  Maintain and improve performance of existing software.
·  Produce clean, efficient code based on specifications and best practices.
·  Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing and new software.
·  Create technical documentation for reference and reporting.

Desired profile

Qualifications

·  Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related IT discipline required.
·  Demonstrate and execute basic to strong knowledge of at least one mainstream programming language (Java, .Net, etc.)
·  Understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP).
·  Understanding of Database concepts
·  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
·  Ability to solve problems efficiently and quickly.
·  Desire to work with emerging technologies
·  Excellent organizational and time management skills
·  This position is required to sit in Tampa, FL
