Ethicon, Inc., a member of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies, is recruiting a Senior US Regional Demand Planner based in Somerville, NJ.

Reporting to the US Regional Plan Senior Manager the Senior US Regional Demand Planner is responsible for leading, and taking full accountability for the US demand Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process. Other responsibilities include business planning, coordinating the US inventory strategy and planning activities, as well as driving US service management and product allocations, all aiming to deliver on key performance indicators including forecast accuracy, customer service, and inventory.

The selected candidate will be also responsible for:
• Achieving line item fill rate (LIFR) targets, and driving continuous improvements in this area.
• Achieving mean absolute percentage error (MAPE) targets and driving continuous improvements in this area.
• S&OP adherence / compliance and driving continuous improvements in this area.
• Achieving inventory targets and driving optimization activities in this area.
• Performing supply chain activities related to network planning (inventory allocations and available to promise), and optimizing inventory in the distribution network.
• Wound Closure & Repair US demand S&OP process, adherence and reporting.
• Chairing US demand S&OP meetings.
• Leading demand planning activities in the franchise by ensuring excellent integrity of both demand and forecast data.
• Adhering to the monthly forecast upload cycle.
• Forecast consumption and forecast accuracy reporting.
• Providing input for the global business plan process, leading the process for the US region.
• Build collaborative partnerships with business partners.
• Providing analytical and technical supply chain support for the assigned product portfolio and acting as a liaison between functions.
• Supporting new product introductions.
• Ensuring that demand planning, S&OP, and business planning processes align with overall global processes and objectives.
• Acting as single point of contact for US, for demand / forecast related activities for the franchise.
• Clearly communicating with key stakeholders accordingly – including (but not limited to) marketing, finance, and supply chain partners.
• Comply with all environmental, safety and occupational health policies. (i.e., ISO14001 & OSHAS18001).

Desired profile

Qualifications :

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required; MBA is preferred.
• Must have at least three (3) years of progressively responsible supply chain experience in the medical device, consumer or pharmaceutical industry.
• Hands on experience working with the following areas: inventory, planning, order management and financial processes is required.
• Previous experience with MRP computer systems is preferred.
• Process Excellence, IBF and/or APICS certification is preferred.
• Must have basic project management skills.
• Knowledge of general business and US & international markets is preferred.
• Must understand distribution links within the supply chain.
• Previous experience with Customer focus (both internal and external) is highly desirable.
• Must be proficient at an advanced level in MS Office programs: Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• The traveling time for this job is 10%.
