Senior Scientist (m/f)

In this position you are part of the Device Methods Laboratory (DML) which is responsible for analytical aspects of medical device testing covering projects from clinical development through life-cycle management and commercial products. You are a member of an international and multidisciplinary center of excellence. In this function, you will lead a sub-team and you will be responsible for analytical development of new, complex combination products.

Your Responsibilities:
• You lead a small sub-team within the DML
• You represent the DML in cross-functional project teams for development, clinical and commercial products.
• You are responsible to address analytical needs for new delivery systems (e.g. patch pumps, Large Volume Injection)
• You translate industry and Health Authority guidelines and requirements into the operational business
• You serve as analytical expert for the development, validation and transfer of physical device test methods in a GMP regulated environment
• You provide analytical and technical support to solve issues related to investigations, re-design and implementation at partner organizations
• You design experimental plans based on defined deliverables and coordinate activities to meet overall project timelines
• You effectively use your network within industry and universities to screen new technologies in the area of expertise

• Good German and English communication skills
• M.S. with at least 3 years' experience in Material Sciences, Engineering, Life Science or Analytical Sciences
