The Senior Manager, Global Strategic Marketing will be responsible for driving the global expansion of the core NeuWave percutaneous and surgical microwave ablation platform for Interventional Oncology. You will lead the strategic plan forecast, development, launch, and commercial execution of the current and pipeline products for selected parts of the NeuWave portfolio. You will develop voice of customer and develop insights that identify unmet customer needs and provide direction for global growth opportunities.
This person will partner with R&D, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Sales, Regional Marketing, Finance and key customers to lead the advancement of new concepts, developing the business case, and implementing target product profiles and evidence generation strategies. You will be jointly accountable with the cross functional partners to reach platform milestones and with regions to reach financial targets within specified budgets and timeframes and ensure applicable company compliance with all relevant country and regional requirements, company regulations, policies and procedures. This role does not have direct reports, but may have direct reports in the future depending on business growth and changing team structures.
Position Expectations
Deliver
· Partner with cross functional team define and execute platform pipeline development programs in accordance with agreed upon development and NPD Stage Gate milestones.
· Partner with global commercial partners and cross functional teams to launch new products and drive commercial execution for the NeuWave platform in order to meet platform financial targets.
· Lead the development of the NeuWave strategic plan forecast, in collaboration with R+D, Finance, Operations, and regional commercial partners
· Partner with Quality partners to ensure implementation of product quality standards and address potential field events
· Manage financial targets within specified budgets and timeframes and ensure applicable company compliance with all relevant country and regional requirements, company regulations, policies and procedures
· Deliver a global pricing strategy recommendation for select elements of the NeuWave platform
Connect
· Develops and executes Voice of Customer programs to uncover customer insights and unmet needs.
· Develops relationships and partnerships with global KOLs and business partners to identify new opportunities, efficiencies or solve problems to meet business needs
· Builds strong collaborative partnerships with cross functional stakeholders that drives a high-performance culture and execution.
· Develop the positioning, pricing, reimbursement and marketing strategy for the assigned elements of the NeuWave portfolio.
Shape
· Partner with cross functional to translated insights into innovative and viable products or solutions that influence platform MGPP priorities and increase the value of the NeuWave strategic plan.
· Partner with Regional Commercial Marketing and other key commercial partners (Finance, Global Business Insights) to execute on commercial initiatives to accomplish near term business plan objectives.
· Collaborate with regional partners, platform leads, R&D, Medical and regulatory to assess key market needs for evidence and develop an aligned prioritization for evidence generation.
Lead
· Develop and mentor cross functional team to integration Ethicon NPD processes and Launch Excellence commercial framework.
· Develop/partner with regional marketing team members to ensure strategies are consistently translated into commercial success.
Desired profile
Qualifications :
· A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Medical Sciences or related field required
· A minimum of 8 years of overall business experience is required
· A minimum of 3 years health care experience is strongly preferred
· A minimum of 3 years of marketing experience is required
· Must exhibit proficiency commensurate with grade in the following competencies: adaptability, teamwork, initiative, innovation, integrity, analytical, leadership, strategic thinking, and communication.
· Proven success in product management, product development, strategic planning and managing commercial strategies through regional partners is required
· Excellent cross-functional and management influencing skills and ability to develop customer relationships
· Demonstrated competency building and executing Marketing strategies and launch excellence framework
Preferred Experience:
· Medical device experience is preferred
· Experience with global marketing, global brand management, new product launches and influencing commercial leaders to translate strategy to execution
· Experience working within a small company/startup environment
· Proven ability to work in a Global matrix organization
· Experience developing capital sales and service strategies and shape a capital pipeline
· Previous employment in large and small company marketing function

· Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
