The Johnson and Johnson Latam Development Center (LDC) is currently seeking a Salesforce Software Developer to join our team. We at the LDC develop, design and deliver high quality business applications, software solutions and services to meet J&J business technology requirements. Our offices are newly designed, specifically to accommodate Scrum development, self-organizing and autonomous teams in an open and highly collaborative environment.

The Salesforce Developer will be responsible for configuration and development of Sales Force Effectiveness projects. This individual requires the use specialized knowledge and skills, problem solving techniques, challenge the status quo, deliver innovation and determine how to best support the business through the effective use of technology. Primary responsibilities include operating as part of the Agile team, coaching other team members in the development activities, working alongside the Product Owner to understand the requirements and translate these to a set of deliverables. This Developer will report directly to the Digital & Analytics Manager.

Responsibilities:
• Undertakes SFDC Development and Solution Design utilizing specialized Salesforce.com knowledge and skills, while following approved J&J standard policies and procedures (e.g. SDLC, Agile, IAPP, etc.). This role requires a specialized knowledge of Salesforce.com along with a solid understanding of core business processes.
• Help the development team driving business solutions, through development and deployment lifecycle, including unit testing/code coverage and documentation.
• Assists in knowledge transfer to team members and organizations after successful delivery of the service.
• Collaborate effectively across IT functions and geographies;
• Apply best practices on development and the correct use of tools.
• Help on impact analysis process aiming to service enhancements.
• Help on estimates and quotes.
• Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

Desired profile

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science is preferred
• 3+ years of relevant work experience is required. 0-2 related work experience in large and global enterprises is preferred
• A minimum of 2 years of SFDC design/development experience, with a strong focus on Apex and Visualforce development is preferred
• A minimum of 1-year hands on experience with Salesforce.com System Administration is preferable
• Preferred experience with Lightning development. SDLS, Aura, Components
• Good understanding of Salesforce reporting, views and logic criteria
• Experience with breaking down solutions into clicks and code components, with a strong focus on minimizing code needed
• Experience with enterprise-grade Salesforce.com development/release lifecycle, including use of source control and release automation tools
• Must have planning and self-organized skills
• Good analytical skills and problem-solving skills required
• Results driven, inquisitive and wanting to learn by nature, and a self-starter required
• Advanced verbal and written skills in English. Desirable verbal and written skills in Spanish
• System integration experience is preferable
