JNJ are now recruiting for a Sales Specialist to join the Ethicon Surgical Business, this opportunity will report directly into the Regional Sales Manager with responsibility for the Medical Devices Territory located in Ireland – Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland.

Role Purpose:
· Achieve agreed objectives and sales targets as outlined in the annual performance cycle.
· Within allocated geographical region, interact and promote products to key customers and partners in secondary care.
· Takes the lead in handling the Specialty customer.
· Lead territory through the development of comprehensive business plans.
· Focus on the highest value opportunities to grow and develop new business including taking competitor share and the adoption of new technologies whilst maintaining key customers and core business.
· Lead and develop accounts and be responsible for the relationship between the Company and the customer, ensuring efficient alignment of all efforts to maximize impact of all activities driving growth.
Key areas of responsibility:
· Account Planning
· Analyze and interpret account strategies and plans utilizing key systems and data, both internally and externally, where appropriate to gain a broad understanding of the business environment and insights in to account needs.
Selling & building strong networks of relationships that enable the identification of mutually beneficial opportunities to sell key technologies in the surgical procedural environment.
· Present brand value propositions and valuable customer solutions to positively influence buying behaviors.
Strong emphasis on teamwork and working in collaboration with colleagues across Johnson & Johnson Medical Devices to deliver business plan.
Professional Education and Marketing
· Leadership of customer training activities. Partner with Professional Education to develop and maintain associated KOL relationships as well as fostering the effective use of the Company’s comprehensive Professional Education offering

Qualifications
Education -
· Degree, preference for business or science
Experience/Track record -
· 3-5 years Hospital Product and/or Medical Device Intravenous Therapy (IV) selling or experience advantageous Consistent record if success and high achievement
Skills -
· Ability to influence Multidisciplinary Hospital Teams & master complexity Excellent communication & social skills Must be tenacious and driven to succeed
