ROLE SUMMARY:

As a member of the Technical Services team, this individual will be responsible for assisting with and supporting qualification efforts for new Laboratory equipment and/or systems. In addition, this individual may be required to complete assigned projects in support of continuous improvement initiatives.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Revise laboratory test procedures and Standard Operating Procedures as assigned.

Prepare, revise, and/or execute validation protocols and reports for low to medium complexity laboratory equipment.

Assist Technical Services and Calibration teams with execution of project deliverables as required.

Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of all work performed.

Maintain laboratory equipment in good working order.

Desired profile

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Enrolled in or completed a Bachelor of Science program.

Candidate should possess previous experience in a laboratory setting.

Basic understanding of equipment and analytical techniques. Working knowledge of HPLC, FTIR and UV an asset.

Working knowledge of the USP or regulatory requirements would be an asset.

Prior experience within a pharmaceutical or food laboratory would be considered an asset

Basic knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and Good Documentation Practices.

Demonstrated problem solving and multitasking capabilities.

Strong personal computer skills.

Enjoy working to multiple deadlines in a dynamic and fast-paced team environment.
