This role is responsible for providing statistical services including analysis, interpretation, design, and communication of data evidence for the quality organization under the guidance of the analytics manager and senior statisticians.
You the QA statistician will develop, maintain, and execute signal detection models to support post-market safety surveillance.
· You will maintain statistical models for the trending & monitoring of quality event and non-conformance data as well as provide statistical support for CAPA effectiveness monitoring and test method validation.
· The QA statistician will produce concise, logical, and well-documented programming code and statistical output.
· You will critically review data to ensure data integrity and cleanliness prior to analysis. The QA statistician will develop & maintain an understanding of the pertinent regulatory requirements pertaining to data analytics.
· The QA statistician will partner with stakeholders across the quality organization including site quality, complaint handling, quality systems, regulatory compliance, and other quality assurance functions to understand data sources and analytics needs.
· Provide consulting expertise for experimental design, hypothesis selection, sample size calculation, statistical modeling, and interpretation of analytical results. This role will keep abreast of current trends in literature and research pertaining to data analysis and work to continuously improve reporting and analyses to meet changing needs of business.
Desired profile
Qualifications :
· Bachelor's degree with 2 years and a Master's Degree or PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, or a related field with sufficient concentration in statistics with 0 years of experience is required.
· Advanced statistical knowledge (e.g. multivariate data analysis, generalized linear mixed models, sample size simulations, data mining, predictive modeling, or operations research) is required.
· Proficiency in at least one statistical programming language is required (SAS, R, Python).
· Proficiency in SAS programming is highly preferred.
· Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities are required.
· Good written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills are required
