•Prepares schedules and ensures timely completion of work orders for manufacturing processes.
• Drive customer service and inventory results for their assigned codes.
• Analyzes product demand, sales patterns, forecasts, production specifications and plant capacity data.
• Identifies raw material and component requirements for production from engineering and production.
• Reviews support documents for scheduling such as route sheets, enters all requirements into the planning system or process
as required.
• Monitors planning modules or production planning systems with current lead times, and related information
**Monitors and identify opportunities for improving lead times.
• Act as the business unit manager's customer service champion and recommend actions to achieve service and inventory objectives.
• ** Provides guidance on any activity that affects capacity required to achieve the short term production volume, which would include making recommendation to the business unit manager on the need to run overtime to achieve the production requirements.
• Reviews capacity loads and identifies possible manufacturing constraints. Monitors and anticipates production issues due to capacity and new product launches.
• Ensures resources required for production.
• Provide weekly and daily direction to the manufacturing business unit manager and leadership team to ensure required production levels are achieved.
• Ensures systems data integrity and accuracy of signals.
• Ensure optimum mix of codes and quantities are scheduled within available capacity on a daily basis.
• Coordinate with supply chain partners to ensure raw materials are available to achieve the production plan.
• **Work with Supply Planner to identify proper allocation of scarce raw materials.
• Identify root causes to issues and recommend corrective actions affecting ability to run the short term production plan.
• Ensure planned events (conversion / transfers) affecting production do not impact customer service or inventory goals.
• Responsible for creating ICOs necessary to support planned events / base business.
• Responsible for BOM accuracy.
• ** Responsible for managing / mapping capacity within the Advanced Planning System.
• Ensure JNJ affiliate product requirements are satisfied.
• Prepares production /planning reports as required.
• Analyzes month end activity to determine the need for forecast modification. Recommends revisions.
• Participate in and support the GOALS process.
• Provide information as necessary to track / trend customer service, inventory and performance metrics.
• Correct work orders as required.
• Establishes effective communication with various groups such as customers, sales offices, and/or plant production departments as required. Monitors work orders from start to ensure the on time delivery of products.
• Participates in new product launch meetings and assist in developing new product forecasts and production schedules.
• ** Lead and identifies improvement opportunities for plant or manufacturing unit supply S&OPs as required.
• Support plant or manufacturing unit supply S&OP as required.
• Identify opportunities to improve inventory investment through inventory entitlement model for applicable production line.
• **Drives Lean / Six Sigma Improvement Kaizens or Opportunities
• Perform other work related duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Follow current compliance regulations and standards.
• Comply with all assigned trainings on timely manner.
• Comply with all federal regulated programs.

Desired profile

Qualifications
Education / Experience

•A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required.

•Certified in production and inventory management (CPIM) or certified in supply chain planning (CSCP) is desirable

•Approximate experience, or equivalent knowledge and skills, necessary to satisfactorily perform the position responsibilities.
2 – 4 years' experience in supply chain/operations and medical device

Requirements:
• It is preferred that the candidate has supply chain/operations and medical device experience and work experience in a
regulatory environment and knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes and procedures.
• It is also preferable that the candidate has0- 2 years experience in manufacturing. Process Excellence/Six Sigma Certification,
Training, and/or use of tools are preferred.
• Data mining reporting skills through MS-Excel (or equivalent) are required.
• Data mining /reporting skills through SQL tools are desirable.
• Advance planning systems (APS/APO) Experience preferred.
• The candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills to convey concise and effective information
regarding work requirement and ideas. Excellent interpersonal relationship skills are required.
• The candidate must also be able to function independently while supporting the overall team's goals. As this manufacturing
facility is a 24-hour, 7-day operation, the candidate may be required work varying off shift and weekends in support of
operation
• Working knowledge of financial processes desirable.
• ERP /Planning Systems concepts user/knowledge required.
• Able to execute in a ERP System is required.
• Six Sigma or Lean Green belt certification Desirable
