Today Cilag AG is one of the largest pharmaceutical manufacturers in Switzerland supplying all the major global markets. The Schaffhausen facility is a Johnson & Johnson strategic launch and growth site for parenteral products and we have an impressive pipeline of new and innovative products.

In order to reinforce the team of our Small Molecule API-business unit , we are looking for a committed person as soon as possible. The objective of this position is to ensure the management of the 3rd party API business as well as the life cycle management of the 3rd party API products.

Manager 3rd party API Business (m/f)

Your main tasks will include

· Life cycle management of the 3rd party API products
· Manage customer relationship and deliver technical support to customers
· Oversee and maintain the manufacturing processes of all 3rd party APIs
· Find and evaluate new ideas which lead to cost, yield and/ or quality improvements in collaboration with PDMS and manufacturing
· Define implementation strategy for process, specification and method changes in collaboration with QA, manufacturing, regulatory affairs and sales & marketing
· Coordinate with regulatory affairs and sales & marketing to ensure required filings are in place and maintained
· Support the customer forecast and demand planning process and consolidate and provide input for production planning
· Coordinate and align 3rd party business activities with the Janssen Business
· Compliance with the GMP, EHS and SOX requirements and guidelines, which are connected to the respective function

Desired profile

Your profile

·  PhD and preferably post-doc in organic chemistry or comparable
·  At least three years of experience in, life cycle management, or process R&D and project management
·  Thorough understanding of process transfers from lab to plant and manufacturing of SM APIs
·  Understanding of GMP compliance and regulatory environment
·  Willingness to closely collaborate in cross-functional teams as well as with external manufacturing partners
·  Ability to work in a complex, dynamic global environment
·  Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and German
