Johnson & Johnson Vision Care, Inc., a member of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies, is recruiting for a Logistics Coordinator, Sales Training located in Santa Ana, California.

Primary Job Function

To provide logistical & executional support to the U.S. Training department and Academic Sales team relative to training and education on J&J Vision Capital platforms. Role will be responsible for all support activities relative to coordinating, planning, and executing training events for both internal training and customer training required for resident programs on our capital equipment.

Core Job Responsibilities

· Assist Training Department & Academic Sales Team with all Regional/National/ Home Office training wet labs
· Participate in wet labs at Americas Sales meeting, and major industry congress events as required.
· Set up and break down home office wet lab programs. (Must have working knowledge of J&J Visions capital platforms.
· Coordinate set up and breakdown of all Regional wet labs with local KAM teams and other J&J Vision team members
· Manage supplies/inventory/ capital equipment including P.O. management for all educational events
· Manage donation requests for phaco and other equipment requests
· Provide supplemental support to Academic Sales team at Regional/National Symposiums, Resident Education, and home office training classes.
· Manage National wet lab schedule via Eye Force
· Responsible for handling all shipping & logistics for wet lab equipment (phaco, scopes, etc.).
· Must have ability to pack and unpack microscopes and phaco systems which require some heavy lifting (100+lbs)
· Coordinates Grant/Donation request in accordance with guidelines from OEC

Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and Procedures.

The Logistics Manager, U.S. Training will report to the Manager, U.S. Training

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Qualifications
·  BS/BA preferred, but not required
·  2-3 years previous Ophthalmic Surgical experience preferred with emphasis on managing inventories, and coordinating logistical tasks
·  A minimum of 30% travel required
·  Cataract procedural knowledge
·  The ability to work with complex teams and schedules is required
·  Ability to work alone and with teams to coordinate shipping & manage inventory is required
