We have an exciting opportunity for 2 Line Facilitators to join our manufacturing team based in Blackpool. In this role, you will lead a production team, monitoring all losses to ensure optimum efficient production support your production area. You will ensure that your team deliver against the agreed plan set by VSL and planning.

In order to achieve this you will manage & momplete DBTH boards, hourly line facilitation updates and will proactively own and constructively resolve issues relating to DBTH alongside the VST. This is a real opportunity to be part of innovational transformation within our business.

As a Line Facilitator, your typical day may include:

Compliance
• Accountable for all aspects of GMP and Housekeeping within the work cell
• Ensure equipment is operated as per procedures and JBS/JES
Responsible for raising NCs , Lead and proactive investigation of NCs.
• Challenges all acts of non-compliance (H&S, WI, SOPs)
• Responsible for zero errors on batch records/DHS/WO/Pressure Sheets etc.

Health and Safety
• Ensures conformance with all H&S regulations within the work cell

Process
Able to Support lean / continuous improvement activities for the area
• Ensures process cycle times are met within the work cell
• Analyses and tracks downtime alongside VST & POL. Capability to lead Kaizen events to reduce areas of significant downtime.
• Understands cycle time, monitors and escalates to VSL when cycle times deviates
• Rotate and perform all duties and responsibilities to job standard in manufacturing areas. Develop working relationship and ensure proactive communication with planning, stores, maintenance and quality control teams to maximize the areas safety, quality, and efficiency.
• To undertake machine / process start up, routine and non-routine material changes and material shut down as required.
• To work up to 70% of time directly on the line as needed to adhere to plan
• Capability and willingness to multi skill / upskill so competent to rotate into other areas of manufacturing as required, or on Rota as prescribed by VSL.
• Ensures all Standard Operations are followed in the work cell and completes daily process confirmations for standard work

People
• Leads by example – coaches/helps others within manufacturing, identifies issues and pursues through to closure. Positive role model for change.
• Escalates timekeeping and attendance issues to Value Stream Leader
• Works with Value Stream leader to provide feedback on operator's performance.
• Identifies training needs within the work cell
• Responsible for ensuring tasks are only carried out by trained operators
• Challenges all acts of poor behavior when observed and notifies Value Stream leader

It would be an advantageous if you had:

• HNC / HND qualified
• CMMS experience
• Knowledge and experience of Lean/CI tools and techniques
