Contract Strategy, Pricing and Administration are responsible for the development and execution of contracting strategies for customers within the Johnson & Johnson Medical Devices (JJMD) Strategic Customer Group (SCG). This department consists of Contract Strategy, Deal Desk and Contract Administration teams. Contract Strategy includes the development and delivery of Contracting Strategies (contracting options/ parameters by customer segment and sales channels/innovative contracting structures, customer analytics (preparation of customer-ready analytics and materials for the field to support customer updates and negotiations) and Contract and Pricing Committee (CPC) governance (rules and processes for approving deal exceptions). The Contract Strategy group works in close collaboration with the Deal Desk that serves as the single point of contact for the field and is the rapid response hub for developing contracts. The Deal Desk puts together the most appropriate offering (products, pricing, capabilities and T&Cs) for the customer possible. Contract Strategy also collaborates with Contract Administration, the team responsible for executing, uploading and ensuring compliance with the contract, to ensure that the contracting strategies being developed can be executed in the field.
Role Objective
The Lead Quoting Analyst, ASC is responsible for the development of offers (including products, prices, commitments and financial T&Cs) for ASC customers in Medical Devices based on specific commercial strategies. The ASC Lead Quoting Analyst will be an expert on developing the detailed offer, and interact with Account Management, Contracting Director and other Quoting Analysts to develop the most appropriate offer and scenarios possible. They will report within the Contract Strategy Team to gather field feedback on offer structures and price points to inform formulation of new strategies. In this manner, they will help shape ASC contracting strategies by supporting quick iteration of options. They will help translate contract strategies into execution structures that are easy to execute and administer. They will also have a dotted line reporting connection to the Deal Desk to stay in sync with the Deal Desk processes, platform knowledge and associated tools. They will also utilize existing tools and provide feedback for improvements. This input will serve as the fact-base to drive the development of innovative contract structures for the ASC channel.
Responsibilities
· Drive the development of detailed offers and scenarios, leveraging product expertise, business acumen and professional judgment while adhering to contracting strategies and price matrices
· Develop rigorous, error-proof offers and analysis (where needed) maintaining a high attention to details of the offer while still seeing the emerging patterns, trends and insights across offers
· Display a high degree of ownership for the quality of the offer and the fit with our strategic and financial objectives
· Coordinate offer development for multi-platform ASC offers while staying connected with the strategies of their respective platforms
· Support quick iterations for refinement of contract strategies based on customer response
· Support development of deal desk and contracting templates required for execution of strategies
· Develop and maintain contract templates in contracting systems in support of approved JJMD contract pricing strategies
· Monitor customer response and performance of strategies
· Identify areas for improvement – within systems, processes and interactions – and provide recommendations to support our objective for continuous improvement
· Drive the development and improvement of training materials and SOPs
· Provide all necessary documentation / files / rationale to relevant stakeholders (e.g., Contract Admin, Contract Strategy Director)
· Expand knowledge and experience by regular engagement with key stakeholders to understand business processes, policies, strategies and evolving business trends

Desired profile
Qualifications :
· A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required. A concentration in Business, Economics, Finance or Marketing is preferred.
· A minimum of 6 years of business experience with at least 3 years in Contract Management, Finance, Pricing or another related field required.
· Experience with contract execution and performance monitoring is preferred.
· Self-starter and strategic thinker with demonstrated ability to implement strategies based on competitive dynamics, economic goals, and customer needs
· Ability to use detailed financial analyses and high-level pattern recognition to drive performance
