The Johnson & Johnson Operating System (JJOS) Site Lead reports to the Process Engineer and is responsible for leading and implementing key improvement initiatives across the business as defined by JJOS. The JJOS Site Lead will lead, analyze, design, and improve business processes by enlisting and influencing cross-functional teams delivering tangible business results through the application of JJOS Principles, Business Processes and Lean tools. Utilizing their business, leadership, and technical skills, the JJOS Site Lead will both execute projects and mentor all groups (associate to management) at the site.
You will:
· Lead a Core Team of seven to 15 members through intensive, five-month Phases of continual improvement activities
· Deliver process improvements around Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Morale; lead site improvement initiatives/projects including managing resource requirements, timeline, financials, and change management tools
· Coordinate and deliver training and training classes, as well as other JJOS events
· Own the financial results portfolio
· Collaborate and partner with stakeholders across multiple functions and locations
· Develop JJOS capabilities (this includes Lean and Six Sigma capabilities) through coaching and mentoring at all levels (associate to management) within the site
· Create sustained business improvement results through the application of JJOS methodologies (i.e. JJOS Business Process Standards, JJOS Principles, Lean, and Six Sigma)
· Follow and observe all regulatory requirements (GMP's, ISO, FDA, internal policies) applicable to area of responsibility
· Comply with J&J Safety Requirements and practices in the site
Desired profile
Qualifications :
· A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required
· An advanced degree is preferred
· A minimum of four (4) years of experience in the implementation of continual improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma) is required
· A minimum of two (2) years of business experience in a regulated industry (Pharmaceutical, Consumer Product, Automotive, Aircraft, or Medical Device) is preferred
· Demonstrated ability to mentor, train Lean and/or Six Sigma methodologies is required
· Proven change management experience is required
· Experience with Lean and/or Six Sigma methodologies is required; Lean and/or Six Sigma certification is preferred
· End-to-end Supply Chain experience is preferred
· Previous project management and strong, cross-functional business acumen is required
· Ability to deliver clear, impactful communications (verbal and written) around process improvement projects is required
· Familiarity with FDA, GMP, and ISO requirements is preferred
· In-depth knowledge of employee relations, manufacturing, and distribution methodologies is preferred
· In-depth understanding of finance, QSR/ISO requirements, and statistical methods is preferred
· Candidate must be a self-starter and have strong leadership skills: resilience, tenacity, and persistence and assertive influencing & collaboration/teaming skills are required
· Experienced in developing talent is required
· Ability to travel up to 10% domestically and/or internationally
