LifeScan Products LLC, a member of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies, is recruiting for an Inventory Planning Controls Analyst for the facility located in Aguadilla, PR.

The selected candidate will analyze inventory levels, inventory positioning and production and sales forecast:

· Performs sourcing and procurement activities in compliance with all applicable regulations.
· Coordinates physical inventories, cycle counting, surplus obsolete, engineering changes, cancellation activities, projected usage and other inventory planning/and reduction activities.
· Compiles stock control records and information such as consumption rate, characteristics of items in storage, and current market conditions.
· Monitors inventory system where errors could affect the replenishment systems, financial position, credibility, or overall operation.
· Takes cycle counts , verifies inventory accuracy and assists in resolving inventory discrepancies and making necessary adjustments to identify inventory discrepancies.
· Troubleshoots immediate inventory inaccuracies.
· Audits warehouse locations especially problem inbound/outbound staging locations.
· Generates and presents standard reports to keep management aware of potential trends, shortages, back orders, and status of goods as required.
· Communicates with supervisor, vendors and staff to resolve any problems and/or concerns.
· Uses and maintains inventory management system.
· Places and/or participates in the process of placing purchase orders to Indirect/Consumable suppliers.
· Implements cost saving initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
· Monitors, maintains and supports departmental metrics and controls.
· Researches and implements analytical tools, processes, or infrastructures to achieve best practices and lowest cost sources of assigned commodity.

Desired profile

Bachelor Degree is required. A minimum of 1 year of experience in Medical Devices, Pharmaceutical and/or Consumer environment is required; previous COOP and/or internship experience will be considered. Experience in planning, purchasing, inventory and/or engineering is preferred. APICS/CIPS/IOM is preferred. Must be fully bilingual (English/Spanish, read, write and speak). Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems. Observes and promotes all regulatory compliance (QSR and ISO) rules and procedures established by the company. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business information, technical procedures and regulatory agencies requirements.
