Job description

Primary Internship Goals:

· Get familiar with the medical/ health care market: focus on atrial fibrillation
· Gathering patient data out of patient dossiers in several Belgian hospitals in order to develop a patient pathway (patients with heart rhythm disorder)
· Data collection and in-depth data analyses, with extent use of MS Excel and translation of data into patient pathway
· Lead the project and actively contribute to the success of the AFIB Value Team, challenging and advising on business decisions.
· Actively interact with all stakeholders involved to learn from their experience and knowledge.
· Participate in company meetings.
· Develop professionalism and communication

Desired profile

Criteria:

· Candidate must be a highly motivated individual who wants to put his/her analytical skills into practice in the development of our Patient Pathway
· A genuine interest in analyzing patient data
· Working towards Bachelor or Master degree: Hospital Management, Pharmacist or other relevant degree in Public health, Health Outcomes Research, Health Service,…
· When: asap : minimum 3 months
· Location: Diegem offices – Hospitals Belgium
Required Competencies:

· Adequate knowledge of Microsoft office programs ( Excel, PowerPoint,..)
· Fluent in Dutch, French & English
· Self-starter

An internship at Janssen is only possible in a written agreement with the student, the internship and the educational institution.
