The Distribution Centre in Courcelles is one of the most strategic hubs in the worldwide Medical Devices supply chain. It serves hospitals in 30 European countries on a daily base and replenishes local warehouses and Distributors in more than 130 countries worldwide.

Principal Accountabilities:

· Update and maintain all affiliate / export shipping procedures needed to ensure all customer requirements adhered to.
· Oversee day to day requirements ensuring deadlines met
· Manage relationships with Affiliate / Export customer services and CEVA shipping team ensuring clear understanding of both teams' roles and responsibilities
· Ensure adequate training provided of local systems i.e. JDE 8.12, ABBRO, Transform, Control Pay, Track and trace to all people involved on the CEVA shipping team.
· Ensure training of team to issue and provide certificates from Chamber of Commerce, QA departments and Customs / Freight forwarders when required. Ensure compliance of documents issued.
· Actively participate in franchise transfers to EDC and ensure follow up with the OTC or J&J organisation after each one
· Ensure that the CEVA team is working within J&J compliance policies (HCC, FCPA, Sarbanes Oxley, Boycott and Embargo etc) Undertake local training responsibilities for CEVA and J&J personnel.
· Ensure adequate communication between different internal suppliers – IT, QA etc (internally) or other J&J Organisations
· Oversee pre-shipment inspections / specific customer requirements
· Oversee pick slip creation and maintenance of shipping days/schedule
· Liaise with Transportation team and Freight Forwarders/Insurance Claims
· Ensure freight costs reconciled in timely manner
· Ensure correct documentation retained for legal and audit purposes
· Departmental measures (KPI on shipments accuracy, on time shipment, on time invoicing, …)
· Provide status reports to control and analyse volumes
· Participate in forthcoming projects
· Monthly financial reporting

Desired profile

Qualifications :

·  Bachelor or above
·  Minimum 3 years of working experience in a complex and international environment.
·  Strong Experience in a Warehouse environment is a plus. Supply Chain Knowledge is a must.
·  Ability to connect with different stakeholders and identify right priorities for the team

·  Experience with improving and optimizing processes

·  Language skills: English (Mastery) – French (working knowledge) – other languages are an asset
