Job description
Position Title: Graduate Process Engineer
Department: Engineering, Vision Care
Reporting to: Project Manager
Job Purpose:
The successful candidate will work within the process engineering team, providing technical support to our existing automated platforms. They will be mentored by an experienced member of our process engineering team, working on process improvement projects, aimed at optimizing the performance of process equipment with respect to quality, reliability, capability and capacity.
· The candidate will receive hands on experience of the change management process, required, to qualify and validate new products & processes, across the manufacturing fleet, to meet the demands of our customers.
· The role will require the candidate to keep up-to-date on the latest process engineering developments and technologies, and will leverage breakthrough ideas that set new performance standards.
· Engagement with the appropriate personnel in the identification and resolution of corrective/preventative actions that address quality, technical, and manufacturing issues is required.

Desired profile
Qualifications :
Education and Experience:
· Recent Graduate (2017 or due to graduate in 2018). Must hold a minimum of a third-level degree in Physics/Chemistry/Biological Science or Mechanical/Material/Chemical or Process Engineering or a related discipline
· Practical application of statistical analysis techniques.
· Capable of working within a project team to achieve results
· Skilled in the use of problem solving tools/techniques an advantage
