Under the direction of the Finance Manager, the Financial Analyst will provide decision support through the collection, processing, validation and interpretation of consolidated financial and statistical information for the Pharmaceuticals Group. This individual will focus on turning data into information by creating value added analysis, specialized reports and critical framings for business partners. Direct and indirect partners include regional/functional CFO teams.

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Generate sales reports and analyses for monthly / quarterly close cycles, business planning, and forecast updates.
• Support the finance manager in the development of the quarterly Investor Relations deliverables, including the New Product CFO summary as well as the Sector Performance CEO letter
• Support the finance manager in the preparation of Executive Committee dashboards to set the clear financial target for the year. Track, frame and socialize the performance results vs. the target
• Support the quarterly latest thinking processes to develop best estimates of quarterly results.
• Provide necessary financial information for budget updates and actuals for WW business partners (NA, EMEA, Asia Pacific, Latin America, JBS, Supply Chain, Actelion) through the Global Decision Support Environment (GDSE).
• Collaborate with Commercial FP&A on LRFP submission.
• Generate other ad hoc reports and analysis as required.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

·  A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required, preferably with a major in Accounting, Finance or other business related fields.
·  A CPA, CMA, or other financial certifications are also preferred.
·  A minimum of 1 ½ years of related experience in finance and accounting required.
·  Experience in the pharmaceutical, medical device, or consumer products industries as well as public accounting is preferred.
·  Experience working on major projects in a complex matrix setting is preferred.
·  Proven business partnership skills and the ability to partner cross-functionally is required.
·  Strong communication and analytical skills required.
·  General Ledger system experience is required.
·  Intermediate to Advanced MS Excel is required.
·  The ability to travel 5% domestically and internationally, and to local J&J affiliates, as needed, is required.
