Janssen Biologics established its operation in Ringaskiddy in 2005 on a 100-acre site with an investment of €500 million. For more than 25 years we have been a global leader in the field of biomedicines, in particular pioneering monoclonal antibody technology a cutting-edge approach to producing medicines that launched a new generation of products to treat immune related diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis and plaque psoriasis.

The facility in Ringaskiddy is now operational producing biomedicines for both the treatment of immune related diseases and new and innovative cancer treatments.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Facilities Supervisor to join a new Facilities department covering both the Janssen Biologics and Janssen Pharmaceutical sites in Cork. This role is responsible for operationally leading and deploying a range of key site services; including contract management, leading and supervising the spare parts warehouse and technicians and being a key interface for the sites to deliver Facilities services and operational improvements.

As a Facilities Supervisor, your typical day may include:

· Working across the Ringaskiddy Biologics and Little Island Chemical API manufacturing sites
· Support the Cross Site Facilities Manager in managing and leveraging resources for Facilities services delivery
· Management of the Facilities performance based contracts
· Ensuring Spare Parts Warehouse operations are delivered to KPI's and targets
· Maintain the site systems to ensure accuracy of data and timely payment to suppliers
· Deliver Facilities training to new hires and ensure compliance to Facilities guidelines and standards for the site

What you'll own and how you'll grow:

You will have the opportunity to work on two pharmaceutical manufacturing sites, covering both biological and chemical elements. There will be space for you to grow and, working closely with the team, develop the Facilities department on site.

Desired profile

BE VITAL:

To be part of this high performing team you will have great attention to detail, alongside

·  BSc degree or equivalent in Engineering, Business or related discipline is desirable.
·  Previous exposure of working within a Pharma/Bio-pharma industry
·  Broad understanding of Facilities management and compliance requirements
·  Strong team player with supervisory experience desired
·  Previous experience of SAP systems desired
·  Excellent communication and presentation skills
·  Previous experience of project management and contract management
