The Data Services Associate will report directly to the Asia Pacific Data Services Lead and is responsible for the management of global and regional data processes, as well as to directly support regional customers in the use and relevance of procurement data sources. Procurement data includes data sources such as spend, behavioral, and operational data, and each of these sources is directly utilized to drive business results in a multitude of ways via reporting and analytics applications. The data services associate is tasked with ensuring data accuracy and usability is sufficient to meet the needs of regional business stakeholders of all levels.
The Data Services Associate will:
· Be responsible for deploying the required data management processes, following clear data standards and business rules, establish relationships with key stakeholders across the function and region and will participate in required governance forums to deliver an efficient, effective process and data set.
· Identify and drive data quality improvements, support the monthly and quarterly ASPAC Spend Data Audit and ensures delivery on time to support the successful Spend Data Refreshes & World Wide Spend Publications. Conducts in-depth analysis on spend data to identify patterns of incorrect categorization by specific teams, countries, sector region etc. Participates in action planning with the data owners to create & implement plans to correct identified issues and align to data standards.
· Fully understands the Procurement data sources and how the data is generated, system interfaces (i.e. Ariba) and configuration for interfaces.

Qualifications
•Bachelor's degree in Business or similar field is required.
•At least 3 years demonstrated track record of success and business experience in Procurement, data management, or other related experience is required.
•Demonstrated change management and stakeholder management experience. Ability to build solid business partnerships.
•Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
•Understanding of data blending and visualization tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, Cognos, etc is preferred.
•2 years of Data management experience including compliance to data standards and governance is preferred.
•Demonstrated ability to work effectively working in virtual organizations is preferred.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer skills is required. Advanced use of Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, lookup procedures and complex formulas with nested logic)
