Role: Data Operations Analyst

Location: Maidenhead
GCF Band 23

The Data Operations Team is responsible for maintaining Master Data in accordance with agreed Regional Standards and Processes. They Support the regional teams by implementing & maintaining valid Regional & Global Data Standards and providing expertise to end users. The team will primarily be responsible for operational data maintenance processes covering customer, material, supplier and finance master data

Main duties and responsibilities:

· Responsible for creating & maintaining Master Data in accordance with Regional Standards and processes for the different data objects.
· Customer Master activities involve: MDGc QA Customer Creation (OAC/RAC), QA MDGc Customer Extension and Change (OAC/RAC) and Intercompany (OPC/RPC), Winshuttle Mass Change - Customer (O*C/R*C), Adhoc business queries, MDGc Support and User Guidance, MDGc Idoc Monitoring, MDGc Workflow management, Ad Hoc exceptional Customer Creation
· Finance Master activities include: Initiate Workflow Requests for BRV6 and BRV8 Chart of Account Level GLs, Manual Creation / Extension of General Ledger Accounts as Exceptions, Manual Update of Critical General Ledger fields, GL Workflow Maintenance, Profit Centre / Cost Centre / Cost Element and related Group Maintenance, Z-Table Updates, Exchange Rates - Updates, and Back up process if Automation fails, Adhoc business queries.
· PIR activities include: Manual creation, change, deletion and reactivation of PIRs via manual excel form, mass uploads done for larger requests.
· Vendor Master activities include: New vendor creations, Company code extensions, change requests, deactivation and reactivation of suppliers, partner links additions to Vendors, E-Invoicing requests, Intercompany creations and extensions, Adhoc business queries, Vendor Idoc Monitoring, Mass Change - Vendor Outputs and Vendor Data.
· Material Master activities include: "Master Data - Mass uploads to various data fields, change of data fields not part of WF (e.g. Product Allocation), amend logistic data, alignment of Root ++ materials, creation of Materials - e.g. Business Planning (NPI) Eurocodes
· Workflow (WF) - Investigate and initiate changes to FRFN fields, forward WF tasks & re-determine Agents, deletion of workflows, table maintenance (ZMARA and LOCK)"
· First Line Support to the Business / Escalation of Queries.
· Follow Standard Operating Procedures to ensure that data is processed in accordance with agreed SOX compliance requirements.
· Sox Controls / Handoffs, Testing and preparation, testing remediations.
· Ensure that data is processed accurately and in a timely manner to ensure requests are completed within the agreed Service Level Agreement. Ensure accurate data template execution.
· System analysis - IDOCs and BDOCs along with the necessary actions.
· Training business users on processes to create and maintain data across all Data Objects.
· Master Data Training pack update
· Production of Integrity check reporting.
· Participation in User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

Governance Expectations:


· SOPs / Work Instructions / Business Statement of Works - Conduct annual self-assessment audit and remediation plan of SOPS / WI / SOWs
· Provide process improvement input.
· Creation and maintenance of work instructions.

Qualifications :

Key Competencies
·  Experience in a similar position in an international environment engaging business users.
·  Hands on experience of process and data analysis with demonstrated data accuracy.
·  Fundamental understanding of IT tools, including familiarity with the following:
·  Knowledge of SAP preferred
·  SAP functional knowledge
·  SAP ECC, CRM, MDG and/or Workflow
·  MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, Access)
·  Good Communication skills required, Change Management skills preferred, builds collaboration and teamwork across the organization.
·  Is results & performance driven.
·  Flexibility to adapt to different data objects and processes.
·  Experience and working knowledge of Data Systems, Data Systems Management, and Data Warehousing a plus.
