The Conventions & Events Coordinator will support the planning and execution of professional conventions and meetings within the Americas Surgical Vision organization. The Coordinator position works with the marketing staff to ensure successful trade show/event operations.

Job Responsibilities
·  Support organization and execution of society meetings, trade shows and meetings throughout the event lifecycle
·  Responsible for managing trade show inventory and assets including booth(s), literature, and equipment
·  Ensure upkeep, maintenance and accuracy of booth graphics, promotional conference advertisement and sponsorship placements.
·  Coordinate housing block, exhibitor badges, maintain and communicate show attendee list, manage pre-show communication and post-show communicatio
·  Organize, track and manage trade show budget
·  Maintain show schedule and project checklist
·  Manage the program review and approval process for trade show exhibits/sponsorships as it relates to healthcare compliance
·  Update the Salesforce CRM system with timely leads from events and use Salesforce reporting features to assist Marketing in tracking event ROI

Desired profile

Qualifications

·  Bachelor's degree required
·  Minimum of 3 years of corporate meeting/event planning and/or trade show experience
·  Proven project management skill with ability to work on multiple tasks and manage multiple resources while staying highly organized
·  Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of organization both internally and externally
·  Experience working in a medical device or pharmaceutical environment is preferred
·  Ability to work collaboratively with internal customers to successfully execute trade shows/meetings in accordance of approved scope of work
·  Proven track record of developing relationships with external partners to successfully execute on business objectives
·  Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Video Conference, Excel, and Outlook
