Johnson & Johnsonannounced that it has received a binding offer from Fortive Corporation to acquire Advanced Sterilization Products(ASP).If the offer is accepted, the proposed transaction would be expected to close no later than early 2019, subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals . Should you receive and accept an offer for this position, upon completion of the transaction, your employment with ASP will transfer to Fortive according to local law and will be governed by Fortive's employment processes, programs, policies and benefits plans.

The Contracts Manager is responsible for preparation, review, management and coordination of contracts initiated by the sales department, including offer development, execution, pricing administration, roster management, and development of policies and procedures. This position will support contracts varying in type and complexity including, but not limited to, purchase, rental, evaluation, pricing, services and bundled arrangements. This individual will work closely with sales, marketing, finance and legal in the development and management of contracts.

Responsibilities

·Review, draft and manage contracts

·Redline and negotiate contracts

·Prepare responses to RFIs and RFPs

·Implement contract changes and prepare amendments, notices or other documents as needed

·Advise business partners on contract terms and conditions, issues, risks, complex contract structures, approval processes, company policies and procedures

·Create various contract templates

·Support new product and strategy launches

·Develop negotiation strategies

·Proof, edit and make recommendations regarding contracts assigned to contract analysts

·Ensures proper coordination of terms and conditions review, contract execution, contract changes and order processing between finance, legal, sales and other relevant departments as necessary

·Respond to internal and external inquiries and facilitate problem resolution

·Review requests for contract exceptions with management, legal, finance, marketing, and compliance.

·Assess state and local government contracts for unique terms and obligations

·Ensure contract strategy and implementation is compliant with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), government and other requirements.

·Provide subject matter expertise in the area of contract management and execution

·Prepare various reports on contract information, such as pricing, performance and status

·Provide training as needed with respect to contract management

·Other duties as assigned

Desired profile

Qualifications

·  Bachelors degree is required. Juris Doctor (JD) preferred
·  6+ years in dynamic experience in contracting, sales, customer support, or commercial operations is required
·  At least 3 years of experience in contract negotiation and contract management is required
·  Ability to work in a fast paced, customer focused environment is required
·  Ability to manage conflicting priorities and meet deadlines is required
·  Ability to work in a team environment is required
·  Strong organization skills and the ability to manage complexity are required
·  Expertise in contracting business process is required
·  Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills are required
·  Excellent written, oral and presentation skills are required
