Compliance Internship (Full or Part time)

Job description

This position is responsible for supporting a strong, efficient internal control environment within J&J Medical Central & Eastern Europe Companies. Reporting to the Compliance Team Lead and business partnering with the local Finance Management team and the wider compliance community, it is a role which provides many opportunities for collaboration both within and outside the Finance community, and allows the job holder to significantly contribute to the continued success of our function.

Main responsibilities will include:

Management of financial compliance activities:
· Coordination of Corporate Internal audit in terms of:
· being a key contact for CIA team
· organizing all meetings between CIA and GS
· coordinating collection for all requested documentation from GS Compliance Officers
· ensuring all the logistics around CIA
· Coordination of JNJ External audit (both statutory and Internal control audit) in terms of:
· being a key contact for PwC team
· Maintaining the document requests from auditors in software CONNECT
· Maintaining the contact list from GS operations to provide correct contact to PwC
· Occasional testing of controls and processes as part of Due Diligence by onboarding of new processes or countries to GS EMEA
· Support any other ad hoc requests from a compliance aspect

Desired profile

·  Studying Accounting/or Auditing/Finance
·  Ideally some experience in accounting from work experience
·  Interest in audit processes
·  At least 3years of study completed
·  Fluency in written and spoken English
·  Highly motivated, proactive and results-driven team player, thrives in matrix organization
·  Proven ability to communicate with and influence people at all management levels
·  Analytical approach and a keen eye for detail with strong organizational skills
·  Excellent communication/coordination and project management skills
·  Resilient and flexible to change, ability to manage complex and ambiguous situations
·  Possess and promote values consistent with J&J Credo
