Position Summary:
Our rotational graduate programme based in our UK pharmaceutical business, Janssen, is designed to enable you to become a commercial leader of our global organisation. We offer 2 one year rotations across different commercial functions. 1 of these rotations will help develop your skills within marketing and the other will give you exposure to a different commercial area vital to our business, such as Communications, Business Intelligence or Government Affairs.
The commercial functions are an integral part of our pharmaceutical business, Janssen. The marketing teams are responsible for ensuring that life changing treatments meet patient needs in disease areas such as Diabetes, HIV, Mental health, Oncology, and Hepatitis. The Marketing department designs and leads the product strategy and is responsible for supporting the teams of Account Managers' in creating effective campaigns. During the year you spend in marketing, you will be aligned to a specific therapy area and will have responsibility for developing and executing your own brand strategies. This could include product launches and events, digital media and mobile technologies used by our sales force.
You can feel safe in the knowledge that we will create an ongoing development plan bespoke to your needs. After gaining experience in a variety of commercial departments and upon successful completion of the program you will be well equipped to join our sales force as an associate account manager, helping to improve patient lives by selling the best pharma products on the market.
During this two year programme you may also have the chance to work towards an externally recognised master's qualification (CIMA) and become ABPI qualified.

Main duties and responsibilities:
· Responsible for the multichannel marketing strategy, tactical development and implementation
· Developing and managing content for the website
· Developing and implementing email campaigns using specific messaging against target segments
· Input into the overall commercial strategy based on insights and customer behaviours
· Responsible for managing projects within limits of time and budget, delivering value to the business
· Input and responsibility for translating health economic cost effective models to the sales force
· Understanding and interpreting business intelligence data to support territory mapping, target customer coverage, regional analysis and potential/penetration analysis.
Desired profile
Requirements of the role:
· A recognised degree qualification at a 2:1 or above.
· Business, physical science, engineering and economics degree types preferred
· Minimum of 300 UCAS points
· Must have the right to live and work in the UK for the full duration of the role
