• Ideally based in the UK (High Wycombe or Wokingham) may consider other J&J sites within Europe

• Travel will be approx. 25% - weekly between UK sites, training courses are held within Europe and travel to the Nordics to meet with our commercial team possibly 2/3 times per year.

We have an amazing opportunity for a Cluster Category Associate. This role is ideal for someone who has procurement experience but wants to explore the marketing side of the business or vice versa.

As a Cluster Category Associate NEu, your typical day may include:

• Assist in driving the Procurement vision for, with and through the stakeholder community

• Support category strategy implementation in the cluster - in particular marketing categories - that will effectively meet the long range requirements of the business partners and deliver maximum value for J&J

• Interface directly with supplier management to assure alignment of JNJ's objectives are met, including quality, reliability, innovation, social impact and cost

• Partners with the Cluster Category Lead to deliver annual value improvements and drives competitive advantage.

• Deliver on financial, service, reliability, quality, innovation, social impact and growth commitments

• Develop supplier relationships with cluster suppliers to include data review and analysis, performance management and development and improvement of end to end value, and bring innovation to the business

• Co-lead the implementation of category initiatives to support the Marketing and Sales teams in the different sectors such as Consumer, Pharma and Medical Devices as well as across all sector initiatives within J&J Northern Cluster consisting of UK, Ireland and Nordics (Denmark, Finland, Sweden & Norway)

Qualifications :

BE VITAL:

You will have a broad-based understanding of core Procurement areas of focus regarding Supplier Management together with strong verbal and written communication skill with ability to confidently present complex information.

However, the key to this role is having exceptional influencing skills with ability to see issues from multiple viewpoints and understand differing needs of stakeholders.

To make this role successful you will be analytical with sound judgment and decision making and in turn then able to be a great problem solver.

You will also have:
• Demonstrated track record of delivering against targets and objectives
• Able to prioritize requests, and propose effective cost/customer service alternatives when necessary
• Level of proficiency with core Procurement skills (e.g., supplier management and performance, supply market analysis, Category Management, Procurement Excellence, etc.)
• Ability to develop a high level of credibility with internal customers, and with the supplier community
• Demonstrated flexibility and willingness to respond to changes in the external environment

It's an exciting time to be joining our dynamic team, you will be part of a team supporting approximately $50 - $200 million in spend, mainly in Marketing and Sales for Johnson & Johnson Companies. You will support the Cluster Category Lead Northern Europe in managing the category strategies implementation and will require strong collaboration with business stakeholders, suppliers and the procurement community.
