The Category Associate & Project Manager will be the Primary point of contact (PPOC) for Regional RE, Make Engineering, Tech Ops, FM and other business partners, for the capital project execution. He/She will be responsible for supporting the Category Leads in managing the category strategies of the spend for Johnson & Johnson Companies. The new CCFS Category Associate & PM will monitor, analyze and report on the organization's activities and ability to deliver against targets for financial performance, quality, and service and compliance adherence.

The Category Associate 's scope of responsibilities include:

· Participate in regional portfolio capital projects reviews
· Translate global strategies into regional execution and deployment, in alignment with regional business priorities
· Partner with Category Leads to deliver annual value improvements and drives competitive advantage
· Lead and execute all the steps according to J&J Sourcing and Spend Management Strategy for Capital Construction projects (RFI, RFP, Bid, Negotiation & Contracts, Cash Flow compliance) in alignment across the region and ensuring global maximum leverage
· Sub-category (Capital Construction & Project Management) knowledge owner for the region, ensuring high support on regional sites
· Hand on regional/local support in execution of capital projects
· Lead negotiation with regional/local suppliers related to capital projects
· Support in PR/PO & contracts related to capital projects
· Application of pre-defined systems & tools for portfolio projects management (Instantis, POET, PDP light, FPX approach)
· Ensure and deliver compliance with regional/country Legal regulation on financial, service, reliability, quality, innovation, and growth commitments. Ensuring compliance with J&J Financial policies (Advance payment, Cash Flow compliance, Single Source, etc.)
· Shape regional supplier base according to the global strategy
· Assist in executing the vision, strategy and implementation plan for a specific category or sub-categories of spend to ensure they effectively meet the long range requirements of the business partners and deliver the maximum value for JNJ
· Escalate issues that may impact the Global Procurement organization.

Travel on the job is required; Percentage Traveled: 30%

Desired profile

·  3-5 years of experience in Procurement in one of the sectors (experience in managing capital projects is preferred)
·  Demonstrated track record of successful influencing, partnering and working with stakeholders and business partners
·  Results oriented and track record of delivering results in an matrix organization
·  Project Management skills (FPX training/certification is preferred)
·  Level of proficiency with core Procurement skills (e.g., supplier management and performance, supply market analysis, Category Management, Procurement Excellence, etc.) is preferred
·  Project Management skills are an asset
·  Strong commitment and sense of urgency
·  Partnership, collaboration and teamwork skills
·  Flexibility in dealing with complex environment
·  Broad-based understanding of core Procurement areas of focus regarding Supplier Management
·  Strong verbal and written communication skill with ability to confidently present complex information

·  Able to prioritize requests, and propose effective cost/customer service alternatives when necessary
·  Ability to develop a high level of credibility with internal customers, and with the supplier community
