OVERVIEW:
The Business Support Specialist is responsible for coordinating Business Planning, QBI and other business reviews; and owns communication across Ethicon business units, to drive tactical execution. The Business Support Specialist facilitates Ethicon governance including leadership meetings, management of key performance dashboards and indicators (new products, key accounts, pricing, execution of key activities), and engagement with distributors / partners. You will also be responsible for alignment and execution of incentive schemes, league tables, awards and associated communication. You will support compliant execution of key activities like products launches (samples) and ProfEd (in coordination with compliance). The role will work directly with the Business Unit Director to ensure flawless execution.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

CUSTOMER FOCUS
- Lead the business planning process, QBI consolidation, board meeting preparation and monthly phasing updates.

- Create a standard rhythm for leadership calls, business unit updates and face-to-face meetings.

- Build strong agenda and training content for leadership meetings and act as meeting facilitator.

- Monitor, track and influence pricing strategy

- Provide support for distributor management and preparation of annual commercial plan in relation to board sponsor duties.

- Work closely with the marketing team to establish and monitor commission targets, facilitate league tables and design appropriate awards / contests.

- Develop a plan to optimize the investment of sample product and ensure compliant tracking of their deployment.

- Ensure compliance to all S&OP, HCC and Mecomed requirements.

- Champion a people centric culture and the creation of consistent succession planning process.

- Act as one of the primary brand ambassadors for ETHICON.

- Drive the values of the organization through every interaction, activity and communication.

MASTERING COMPLEXITY
- Drives collaboration with the geographies, commercial operations function and Supply Chain

- Support development of Value Proposition in close collaboration with Health Economics, Professional Education and, broadly speaking, Market Access.

- Identify innovative and entrepreneurial approaches to creating and reinforcing customer value.

- Leverage and own digital marketing tools and platforms (SPARK, IPad) to engage, inform and educate external stakeholders, clinical and non-clinical.

Qualifications :

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, COMPETENCIES AND EXPERIENCE:


Education: BA or BS required.

SKILL SETS AND COMPETENCIES:
- Extremely good grasp of English-language.

- Advanced user of Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Word

- Analytical skills. Experience using spreadsheets

- Attention to detail, and rigor

- Project planning skills

- Communication and Presentation skills

Years of experience: (minimum required to be able to handle the position)

Generally requires (2 to 5) years related experience.

Regional experience valued.

TRAVEL:
Approximately 10% travel may be required
