Vogue International a Johnson & Johnson company is recruiting for an Associate Brand Manager –NA Aveeno Haircare and New Haircare Brands, located in Clearwater, FL (Tampa Bay).
Vogue International, is an innovative consumer products business located in Clearwater, Florida, that distributes cutting-edge hair care products to large retail chains around the world. These brands represent an innovative hair care business which is new to our Consumer Family of Companies and focused on the marketing, development and distribution of salon-influenced and nature-inspired hair care and other personal care products. With several strong brands among its portfolio, including OGX® and MAUI MOISTURE® Proganix® and FX®, the Vogue business is the cornerstone of Johnson & Johnson Consumer's hair care operations. Vogue International products are sold in the U.S. and in 38 countries.
The Associate Brand Manager (ABM) for NA Aveeno Haircare and New Haircare Brands will support the NA Marketing team. This position will help to bring to market these brands in the US and Canada. They will analyze the whitespace and competitive marketing space, and develop and recommend the annual brand marketing strategy.
The ABM is specifically responsible for the following:
· Lead the ongoing marketing recommendation with the Product Development team to on the Innovation pipeline in partnership with the Global Franchise Organization (GFO)
· Lead the NA Marketing plans, which includes consumption forecasting, go to marketing annual plans and strategy, assist with PR and Influencer marketing, Marketing Spend, Displays and POS, Sampling and Media Spend
· Brief and work with the internal creative team to develop the annual communication campaigns and creative for the paid media and instore POS
· Be an integral partner in fully-cross functional innovation project team meetings to bring them to market
· Performs highly advanced sales and competitive analysis.
· Monitors implementation of brand strategy and makes adjustments as needed
· Responsible for guiding the work of advertising agencies in advertising, tradeshows, point of purchase, costing and pricing to ensure work inconsistent with overall product strategy
· Analyzes key performance indicators and financial reports such as budget, commercial policy, price, net sales, and investment level, and suggests improvements. Oversees in market research, test market activities and determines ROI
· Establishes partnerships with Sales Team, PR Firms, Creative Agency and Media Buying Agency
· Develops strategy for uncovering market opportunities by establishing priorities and recommending a process for obtaining intelligence information. Determines criteria used in screening new and existing product ideas
· Builds inroads with key customer relationships and partnerships for market development and enhanced competitive market share.
· Forecasts demand and participates in review of sales forecasts for assigned product line
· Lead cross-functional teams that may include Sales, Finance, Graphics, Packaging, Agencies, Market Research, R&D and Operations to develop and manage marketing objectives, goals and strategies including media planning and executions and business planning
· Ability to prioritize and to manage multiple priorities successfully
Desired profile
Qualifications :
· A BA/BS in Marketing or a business-related field is required. An MBA is preferred
· 2 years of Marketing experience is required
· Consumer Packaged Goods Marketing experience is strongly preferred
· Digital and social media experience is a plus
· Candidate must have superior leadership skills, strong communication and organization skills, be able to work in a team environment, and be customer/market oriented
· Ability to work within and lead a cross-functional team is required
· Strong business analytics, consumer insights development, understanding of core marketing levers are required
· Must possess demonstrated leadership skills and delivery of consistently strong results
· This position requires up to 10% domestic and international travel
