The CSS Group serves a diverse base of customers in Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT), Infection Prevention, Electrophysiology, Surgical and Non-Surgical Aesthetics, Sedation and Reprocessing all headquartered in our talent hub in Irvine, CA
The ACAS Program Manager will support the Biosense Webster's Associate Clinical Account Specialist (ACAS) organizational training strategy, execute training plan strategies, and track outcomes. The Program Manager will report in to the Manager of the ACAS Program and assist in identifying training and developmental needs and drive suitable training initiatives that build a foundation for clinical and sales success to meet the personnel needs of the organization. The objective of this role is to enhance ACAS' training experience, develop the ACAS' skills, performance and productivity, leading to high quality work. The ACAS Program Manager is a likely candidate to develop as a backfill to the Manager, ACAS Program role.
Responsibilities:
• Under limited supervision and in accordance with all applicable company guidelines related to Regulatory, Health, Safety and Environmental practices, this position coordinates and executes clinical curriculums intended for ACAS clinical training.
• The ACAS Program Manager is responsible for identifying and coordinating current and future training needs through program progress, performance appraisals, and follow-up with the field management teams.
• Coordinate and assign training plans facilitating clinical and sales development.
• Deploy a wide variety of training methods, including but not limited to identifying training sites to provide optimal training experiences.
• Partner with the Manager of the ACAS Program to identify appropriate training site locations within hospital and other facility environments, and manage contracts and other process and policy requirements and documentation.
• Work in collaboration with physician faculty and hospital training sites, executing and managing contracts in compliance with HCC requirements.
• Conduct effective orientation, new hire, and program enrichment sessions.
• Manage Learning Management System progress for all attendees, sending reports updates to field management teams.
• Monitor and evaluate training program's effectiveness, success and ROI periodically and report results to the Manager, ACAS Program.
• Manage project spending related to the project, effectively projecting for future program growth and substantiating any financial needs.
• Resolve any specific problems and tailor programs as necessary
• The ACAS Program Manager will identify and align any financial or process efficiencies through the OneMD Global Education Solutions center of excellence.
• Curriculums and training content will be reviewed regularly and to according Biosense Webster's company regulatory and legal review policy.
• Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level
• Responsible for ensuring subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition
• Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures
Desired profile
• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required
• Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, field-based or in classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations, etc.) is required
• Excellent communication and organizational skills are required
• Minimum of three (3) years medical device industry experience is preferred
• Current or previous Cardiovascular and/or Electrophysiology experience is preferred
• Current or prior experience working within a Learning Management System is preferred
• Minimum of one (1) year experience designing and executing successful training programs or curriculum, as well as delivering training in both group and individualized settings is preferred
• Knowledge in Biosense Webster field organization is preferred
• Proficiency with MS Office applications is required
• Proficiency in facilitating in a virtual environment is preferred
• Strong report writing and record keeping ability is preferred.
• Ability to plan, multi-task, and manage time effectively is preferred
• This position will be field based, preferably located in southern California, and will require up to 25% domestic and international travel including traveling to Irvine, CA at least twice per month
