TRAINING SPECIALIST-8261150916DescriptionThe One CSS Group of Johnson & Johnson is hiring for a Training Specialist in Irvine, CA.The Training Specialist will have responsibilities for one or two of the Cardiovascular and Specialty Solution (CSS) Companies (Acclarent, Biosense Webster, and Mentor – Johnson and Johnson Family of Companies) including a span of multiple product platforms such as ENT, Infection Prevention, Electrophysiology and Surgical and Non-Surgical Aesthetics.

SUMMARY OF THE JOBThis position is responsible for the management and analysis of Compliance Wire training software system. Coordinate, manage and perform cGMP, GDP training for a new hires to raise general awareness of regulatory and quality compliance on their respective jobs.. This function interfaces with multiple business units within CSS worldwide and across JNJ. Partner with other JNJ Learning Management Training Administrators to support the business’s strategic objectives, prioritizes initiatives and identifies opportunities for technology to add business value.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESUnder general supervision and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:Work with subject matter experts to create training materials/programs.
Author, coordinate, and execute regularly scheduled cGMP, GDP training for new hires and consultants.
Work with a cross-functional team to improve and standardize training processes.
Work with a cross-functional team to develop training curricula and training matrix / plan.
Review and evaluate training materials prepared by instructors.
Manage curricula and courses, including assessments through Compliance Wire.
Update Compliance Wire Job codes and training matrices, as required.
Ensure all hard-copy training records are completed accurately and filed correctly.
Periodically, evaluate training effectiveness.
Manage, train, and support training coordinators across CSS functionsAssists internal customers and training coordinators is resolving issues related to Compliance WireComply with regulatory requirements on training processes and records.
Manage/support administrative changes required in Compliance Wire Training softwareFollows and complies with all standard operating proceduresResponsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management levelResponsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and proceduresPerforms other duties assigned as needed.
QualificationsREQUIRED EDUCATION/TRAINING and/or EXPERIENCE:Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following disciplines: Science, Engineering, English, Human Behavior, Law or related discipline. Minimum of 1 year of combined work experience in a training role with Learning Management System software, data management in medical device field. Project management experience is preferred. Good level of computer literacy required.
Knowledgeable in applicable regulations is required. Knowledge of Learning Management Training Software is required. Ability to develop and give presentations on technical and regulatory topics is required. The ability to train/mentor associates is required. Excellent analytical skills and excellent interpersonal skills. Demonstrate excellent communications skills (verbal and written) are required.
Other required elements include: ability to work in fast paced environment and rapidly shift priorities. Ability to quickly adapt and navigate various technology and computer software. Ability to communicate with multiple levels of management. Ability to effectively deal with a variety of conflicting issues and diplomatically solve those issues. Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets complex technical documents and manuals. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusionsThis role is located in Irvine, and may require some travel.
