The JDE Technology Manager will be responsible for Architecture, Engineering, and L3 support of all JDE platforms, a Business Critical Applications, worldwide.
He/she is responsible to Technically Manage JDE Infrastructure within Johnson and Johnson across the globe. This individual will provide guidance and direction on JDE and level 3 support issues.
Provide global operational infrastructure support 24 x 7 for ERP applications. Owns Architecture, Engineering, JDE Infrastructure Security, SOX for OMW & CNC, CNC L3, Documentation Creation and Training of L2’s.
The JDE Technology Manager will be part of the Global ERP Team. The Global ERP team delivers Enterprise Application Support JDE Platforms, SAP Platforms and Siebel Platforms.
The JDE Technology Manager will be responsible for R&D JDE Software and Bolt-On Products. Architecture and Engineering related work for JDE and JDE Bolt-on’s. Create IQ/OQ’s for Product Installations and Install Checklists if required. Provide L3 Support to all JDE Platforms Globally. Coordinating projects and project related resources. Owns SOX for CNC and OMW. Owns Security Configurations Standards and Infrastructure Security for JDE and JDE related Products. Work closely with the JDE L2 to provide Continual Service Improvements of JDE Platforms. Owns and updates all Documentation, Drawings and Software for all JDE platforms globally.
QualificationsA Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent is preferred but not required. A minimum of 10 years of broad IT infrastructure experience, preferably in a large global organization with 8 years of experience working as JDE Technical CNC/Integrator/Administrator, Oracle DBA or MS SQL experience related to JDE DBs is required. JDE Certification Preferred. Microsoft Certification Preferred. SQL and .NET programing knowledge is a plus. ITILv3 Foundations Training is a plus as is experience working on global teams. A dynamic personality, with a great focus on result delivery. Need to be a good communicator, and can express yourself in English (written and verbal).An active technical problem solver with hands-on experience with troubleshooting issues. Architecture, CNC knowledge of JDE is required. Extensive OneWorldXE experience is required. Expertise in configuring and optimizing JDE environments. Exposure to JDE Security and QBuild is a plus. Extensive knowledge in Windows OS is required. Knowledge of AS400 is a plus. Skilled in JDE Bolt-Ons such as DSI and Formscape. Oracle DB experience in JDE DB’s is required. MS SQL Server and AS400DB2 related to JDE is a plus. In depth knowledge of IBM HTTP Server, IBM WebSphere V7.x and later is required. Technical writing skills to write the proper documentation according to internal regulations (FDA part 11, GxP, etc.) SOX, SOP, Work Instruction. Knowledge of SOX, and experience implementing / maintaining both preventative and detective controls.
