Also, there are 9 external manufacturing locations which feed into the demand with regional distribution & keeping the network strategy in focus.
India Supply Chain comprises of variety of pillars namely – Make, Source, Plan & Deliver which is in line with the Global Supply Chain framework of specialised sub-functions.
Job Title (India Specific): Supply Chain Finance ControllerFunction: ConsumerLocation: Mulund, MumbaiPurpose of the position:As the Operations (Finance) Controller the position would directly report to the Senior Finance Director, Supply Chain in Asia Pacific who is based in Singapore with dotted line reporting to the India Finance Director, working very closely with the Operations Director, India Supply Chain and will be a key member of the Product Supply Leadership team (PSLT) which houses all functional HODs in Supply ChainGeneral Responsibilities:
- Deliver financial commitments (as per BP/Update) with equal stake as Business partner:
- Continuously driving initiatives to assess opportunities of GP improvement & create/maintain strong dashboards for a strong and meaningful performance tracking mechanism – to deliver & look beyond.
- Engaging with key stakeholders with effective MIS/Analysis & influence positive business outcomes.
- Deliver process improvements, standardization & simplification in areas such as :
- TPM – Review contract adherence; benchmarking of costs; yields etc.
- Capex proposal evaluation – Drive efficient and timely spend of Capex in alignment with growth objectives.
- Costing – Drive a robust process to ensure comprehensive & correct std. costs.
- Provide accurate forecasting of P&L to all stakeholders at various intervals as may be required clearly calling out the risks and opportunities and driving delivery of forecasts.
- Participate in NPD/NPI projects and provide financial inputs for decision making on GP, SLOB etc.
- Periodic financial close as per internal and statutory acctg compliance norms. Ensure accuracy and comprehensiveness of the books in line with WWP.
- Facilitate SOX compliance framework and keeping SC financials audit ready at all times including BSARs, DCMs, SOP’s etc.
- Facilitate various statutory audits from Companies Act perspective (including cost audit).
- Work closely with Regional SC finance team on various standardization and simplification initiatives being an active member of the Regional Finance Core team.
- Continue supporting key supply chain projects like LCO/Emerging market strategy; Make to Win; Network; DTV and other GP improvement/Growth initiatives.
- Ensure high level of engagement in Ops finance team with clarity on goals & objectives; work on talent acquisition (internal/external) to strengthen and build a robust pipeline; job rotations and Org health.
- Provide commercial & financial support for Blue Mountains & other major Capex projects ensuring efficiency in spends (including tax) and adequate internal controls.
