We have a great opportunity for a Stores Associate to join our successful team in Blackpool. The successful person will support the continuous development of an efficient stores activity carrying out stores duties to best achieve the company’s goals.
Main Duties will include:
- Ensure all goods received and returned are of the correct quantity and are accompanied with the appropriate documentation.
- Accurate inputting of information on to the system is essential to ensure materials are available to satisfy production plans.
- All raw material, packaging products, waste materials and scrap items to be transported between departments as directed.
- To manage the transportation of product for sterilization in line with the requirements of the Production department.
- To manage the transportation of finished batches to the Tingley distribution centre in line with the business requirements.
- To work with Stores Team Leader to complete cycle count activities aligned with the WW procedure
- To ensure JIT replenishment of the kanbans both in Stores and in Operations to ensure zero stock outs that interrupt production
- Compliance with 5S requirements
- Ensuring racking checks are completed on time and any anomalies reported to the Stores Team Leader
- Raising NC’s for non conforming incoming goods or services
- Compliance with the WW heat treated pallet policy
- Attending the daily operations meeting to advise on raw material receipt, logistics plan for sterilization and any other Stores activities that will impact Operations
- Liaising with freight/courier companies to arrange outgoing shipments as requiredQualificationsTo be part of this driven team you will already have stores experience together with current experience working with a fork lift truck and driving a HGV vehicle and hold a valid licence and qualifications. Bendi forklift experience would be an advantageEssential Criteria:
