Sr. Brand Manager, Neutrogena U.S. Professional Marketing-1338141203DescriptionThe Sr. Manager, U.S. Professional Marketing for Neutrogena will be accountable for leading the development of the overall U.S. Healthcare Professional strategy in collaboration with Regional Marketing leads for the business. This position will create and leverage HCP equity-building, marketing strategies and best practices, standards and centralized capabilities to increase and accelerate market activation with Healthcare Professionals for all categories of Neutrogena across the U.S. This position reports to the General Manager, Neutrogena.
Scope of Responsibilities Include: Lead the development of U.S. Neutrogena Professional strategy in collaboration with Regional Marketing teams and drive regional/local market roll-out and application. Drive identification of key regional professional insights necessary for brand leadership with HCPs in priority need-states and champion the development of pipeline of professional claims to strengthen overall medical relevance of the Neutrogena portfolio of products. Lead the development, ongoing refinement and implementation of Neutrogena Professional playbooks, business models and toolkits. Communicate with all levels of the organization to ensure that professional marketing plans are clearly understood and that the Neutrogena professional brand vision and values/philosophy are followed. Build relationships and effectively collaborate with regional professional, public relations, medical/professional affairs, clinical, research and development, trade and customer marketing to help develop effective professional channel strategies. Identify key insights across research reports, HCP survey data, scorecards and dashboards to identify/highlight key challenges, markets exhibiting key strengths and opportunities. Forge strong relationships with key Dermatology societies and KOL’s to enhance brand perception of Neutrogena’s commitment to Dermatology. Assess marketplace trends, identify issues and opportunities, and monitor global competition. Support Regional Marketing with annual business plan development and deliverables. Advance & harmonize tracking/monitoring of metrics/KPIs for Professional Marketing & Sales programs/initiatives across franchises at the regional level and ensure alignment with Global projects. Partner closely with Sr. Director, Professional Sales to identify professional sales strategies with HCPs. Spend time in the field with Professional Sales Representatives. Lead project execution for key U.S. Healthcare Professional initiatives including strategic partnerships (i.e.: Medical Associations, AAD, Regional Medical meetings or Global Medical Meetings happening in the U.S.). Own the execution of neutrogenamd.com and professional digital success models/assets to drive HCP education and engagement across NA. Collaborate with professional leaders in the region to drive professional excellence, efficiencies and prioritized planning for roll-out of professional assets/tools. Build the Neutrogena brand globally by assisting other regions with professional marketing claims, marketing materials, and best practices. Act as subject matter expert as needed for Healthcare Professional training and events. Serve as a role model for Healthcare Compliance. Ensure 100% alignment to HCC rules for all professional programs. Advise cross-functional partners on best way to drive business results in a HCC compliant way.
QualificationsA minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required. An MBA is strongly preferred. A minimum of 8 years progressive HCP Marketing /Sales experience is required. Experience in brand marketing management is preferred. Experience with HCPs is preferred. Experience in Pharmaceutical and/or Consumer Packaged Goods are required. Work experience on Skincare, pharmaceuticals, or related consumer health care products is strongly preferred. Experience in professional marketing / sales brand management, including new business / business model development, marketing communications, P&L/financial management, new product development, consumer research, trade relations, sales promotion, and/or cross functional leadership across the company is required. Deep understanding of the integrated marketing experience and the role digital plays in the marketing mix. Familiarity with segmentation, analytics and a general comfort with numbers; direct experience with web measurement/analytics a plus. A passion for understanding the healthcare professional mindset and keeping up with media and technology trends; exceptional healthcare professional insight skills and the ability to translate those insights into business ideas is required. Familiarity with and hands-on use of social media platforms is an asset. An experience and/or expertise in KOL mapping/engagement programs is required. The ability to clearly articulate and present strategies, recommendations and results to team members and management is required. Able to be an individual leader, willing and eager to work in a hands-on capacity is required. A leader and team-builder with a passion for working with creative people is mandatory. The ability to collaborate successfully and build relationships with internal teams, suppliers and agencies is required. The ability to influence multiple stakeholders across multiple disciplines, geographies and organizational levels is required. Strong bias to action and proven track record of delivering results is required. Superior collaboration skills and the ability to create and lead high-performing cross-functional and cross-cultural teams are required. Experience taking new initiatives from strategy to implementation is required. Previous management experience is required. This position requires up to 30% domestic travel.
