The Sedasys Division is committed to redefining the practice of sedation and enabling healthcare providers to deliver greater value in the increasingly resource constrained healthcare landscape by developing and facilitating access to innovative solutions within the emerging CAPS (computer-assisted personalized sedation) category.
The Sedasys Account Manager (SAM) is accountable for achieving sales goals and business objectives in the assigned territory for the SEDASYS® System. The SAM will use a consultative/challenger selling approach to identify the top jobs in a facility that the SEDASYS® System delivers upon. Other responsibilities include delivering the value proposition to all key stakeholders at targeted facilities within the territory. The SAM will position the Sedation business model and how it delivers clinical, economical, and operational value that is linked to the top jobs at the facility.
The SAM will be the account owner at each customer facility. The SAM will play the role of key customer contact to assure that customer needs are properly identified, assessed, and addressed in a highly responsive & cost-effective way. The SAM will be responsible for developing relationships with all key stakeholders at the facility; managing account information at a strategic and tactical level using SalesForce.
Com; conducting formal and informal business reviews with facility stakeholders to ensure the proposed value proposition is being realized by the facility; assessing customers' top job and needs that the SEDASYS® System delivers upon; educating customers on the benefits of using Computer Assisted Personalized Sedation (CAPS) technology; track and explain metrics to customers ; demonstrating clinical, economic and operational benefits of the SEDASYS® System based on what the facility is hiring the device to deliver upon; optimizing the sales funnel by identifying and managing all customer segments within the territory to meet sales and business objectives; analyzing and prioritizing sales and service opportunities; and executing business plan to meet sales forecasts. The SAM will need to possess team building and collaboration skills that will be leveraged to work efficiently with the Clinical Integration Specialist (CIS), Field Service Engineer (FSE), Clinical Education Manager (CEM), Area Business Manager (ABM), and other Sedasys team personnel. The SAM will need to perform necessary administrative tasks and reporting using the assigned business tools & templates; work with internal stakeholders to prepare and present contract and service options; drive career development through on-the-job learning; special projects; workshops and conferences. Other responsibilities may be assigned & not all responsibilities listed may be assignedQualificationsTo be considered for this role, A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required. A valid driver's license issued in one of the 50 States with a clean driving record is required. The ability to travel as necessary, which may include overnight and/or weekends, is required. Extensive field travel; up to 60%. Passports and ability to travel internationally as needed.
A minimum of 3 years of business-to-business related sales within healthcare arena using consultative sales techniques is required, preferably in Hospitals/ Outpatient Surgery, Ambulatory Surgery Centers, and Integrated Delivery Networks (IDN); at least 1 year of selling capital equipment within complex healthcare facilities involving multiple stakeholders within the decision making process of selling required. Customer Stakeholder experience with: Facility Administration, Unit Managers, C-Suite, Nursing, Anesthesiologist, Director of Peri-operative Services, Gastroenterologist is preferred. Demonstrated understanding a facilities capital purchase process and effectively building a network of advocacy and consensus to expedite purchase decisions is required.
